Thanks for this, Burda pattern review and tutorial. Very few Burda patterns get tutorials. Usually, the tutorials I find are for the patterns from the magazine. The dress is simple but very cute in that fabric.
Amen to your tee! Wonderful. I just stopped by on another vid of a pleated skirt and thought this lady is so Titus 2. Then I picked this vid And here's the tee ! Praise God for sewing! X
Glad to see your video Anita, I’ve been missing you. Love your dress! No wonder, I love everything you make 😊! It fits you beautifully and I look forward to watching the sew along. I’ve recently made a top from last year’s Burda with a similar pattern and I am wearing it with delight. I have been using Burda magazine for all my sawing since early 1980’s, it was the only pattern magazine available in Romania then, my husband would obtain it monthly with great sacrifice. I have the full collection for the past 4 years and many older years as well. I am now working on several pieces (3 wide leg pants and matching tops) for an upcoming trip to Europe and half century high school graduation. Good luck with your projects ❤
Oh wow, Cristina! I have never sewn a pattern from Burda Magazine. What a collection you have. How awesome that your husband supports your love of sewing so beautifully.
Very thorough run through with an unfamiliar pattern format. I love the additional augmentations to the notions. I don't normally sew jersey, so I appreciate the tips!

Any ideas where to get the Burda pattern other than Amazon.
Hi Danette. It's on the Something Delightful website. Here's the link: simplicity.com/burda-style/bur6414
How much material did it take for the longer dress?
I think it was about 2 yards, but I don't remember exactly.
