Hi friends! I'm really excited to share my review of the Burda Style 6252! This is an easy pattern designed for advanced beginners! Here are a few minor things I forgot to include in my review... Although this pattern lacks in size inclusiveness, it's a wonderful design that I reccomend for sewists who are learning buttonhole techniques! The size range for this pattern is US: 8 - 18 and EUR: 34 - 44; however the pattern does not include body or finished waist measurements. The finished measurements for the hips are listed on the front skirt pattern as 38.5" - 46.5". The skirt pattern includes a self facing that is interfaced. Despite the drawbacks of size inclusion and size omission, it's a gorgeous pattern. I hope my review helps!
Thank you! I really had reservations about the buttons. They were the only ones that were close to the color i wanted. I decided to give it a chance. I think they look good. Thanks for watching.
I just got this pattern not long ago. So excited you did a review, especially the heads up about the waist. Yes your fabric is yummy. Thanks for the review
You are right, that color is yummy. Thanks for the tip about the thickness. I don't think my machine would be too happy sewing through the loops. Can't wait to see the jacket.
Your outfit was really beautiful! The color was delicious! You did an amazing job getting those loops sewn on! It doesn't look like you had any issues. I have a heavy duty Singer as well so I'll keep that in mind when I need to sew thicker items. Thanks for sharing!
😁 You're welcome!!! I wouldn't trade my heavy duty singer for any other home machine in the world!! I've had many sewing machines over 17 years and this one is my fave basic design. Hands down one of the best lone of machines singer has come out with is this heavy duty line. And I'm not being sponsored! Trust me! 😁
That fabric and skirt behind you is gorgeous. Is the coat behind you the same fabric? It sounded like your video was a little sped up today. Not sure if it's just on my end.
I've just finished to sew this skirt. The waistline is very loose. To be honest I didn't measure my body because I always wear size 34 and this was also the smallest size on the pattern, so I thought "what could go wrong?" 😂😂😂 but with a pullover inside and a belt it's wearable. Oh I can wear a belt because I've misplaced the tabs. At least a fortunate mistake.

Your skirt is very beautiful. The color of the corduroy is gorgeous, and the buttons look great with the fabric. Great, great job.

The skirt is gorgeous. I love the color. The jacket in the background is lovely, too.
Thank you Ruby! That's the jacket that I will be doing a pattern review on this week! I'm excited!!!

Thank you Cathy!!! It's annoying when they don't put the size on the pattern pieces. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Sue! The jacket was a bit more complicated to sew than the skirt. But you'll hear all about that soon! 😁
My friend just gave me this pattern thank you for the video

Hi Susan! Yes, the skirt and jacket were made with the same fabric. I'll post a review of the jacket tomorrow. 😁
