@@jeremybosworth2275 You can see him near the beginning using jolt on groups and hard casting scatter and verthunder. It looks like doesn't look like he knows how to do his rotations yet.
@@Dragon359 Prae was 45 minutes. They cut the Ultima Weapon and Lahabrea fights and associated cutscenes, a couple of other cutscenes, and lets you skip the cutscene after beating Gaius, which amounts to about 21 minutes cut. However they also made the bosses longer, so the total time of the instance is now around 28-29 minutes, about 15 of that being cutscenes. Still very cutscene heavy but much better gameplay ratio.
Running thoughts while watching: I forgot how insane the melee self heal is in trash packs. Holy crap the first boss is Add Phase, The Boss I enjoy how they section out the pulls. I always thought forcing you to interact was cheap, as well as how you could pull half the damn map at points. Oh, the ring AOEs like the ones from [ShH level 79 dungeon]! I enjoy that this second boss teaches you things like what tankbusters and proximity damage markers look like. Man, they REALLY cut the fat here. Even Livia’s cutscene feels shorter, although I know it’s mostly the same dialogue, minus one line. DAMN, that part throwing out AOEs could seriously trip up sprouts if they aren’t careful! … ESPECIALLY that aoe to proximity marker combo, I could see sprouts panicking and eating more damage than they need to. The quiet after you defeat her… quite a nice way to make it feel more weighty.
Looking at it, Livia's fight is now kind of like a simplified prototype version of the Annia and Julia battle from 4.5's Ghimlyt Dark. Clever reuse of assets and ideas, or a good call forward to prep players for that kinda fight?
@@hikikomoron It was a fantastic idiot check. Was allways hillarious to see people going crazy because they can't fathom zhe idea that the boss would attack the one that shoots her.
@@tehSunBro I have fond memories of attacking her, then just /sitting in the middle as a healer. Newbies really just sat there and noticed "Wow... She does NO damage." Then when she aggroed onto the next person, they just stood in the middle not even attempting to move to try it out.
Was the RDM allergic to casting AOE spells?
He has party graphics turned off.

It's really great how they managed to cut out nearly every single unskippable cutscene here. Even Livia's tedious cannon phase is gone.
Thank god.
The same can't quite be said for Praetorium though unfortunately, but even then it's 'somewhat' shorter than before.
@@Dragon359 Praetorium had like 30 minutes of cutscenes previously. so yeah, it was cut down.

Probably both. Plus, it gets rid of the tedious cannon phase.
Holy shit this looks so much better now. I got stunlocked by every change.
The alarm sounds like it's saying WHALE MEAT.
They took out Livias armor fight? That sucks.
That fight sucked.
It's just another black eft but tankier.

RIP Luvia's magiteck armor
