Your camera passed by the distributor and you do indeed have the vacuum advance which should have a male port that requires a rubber hose (vacuum) that goes to the carburetor and is not blocked off like you show.
That's the old one that wasn't working so there was no need. I have a new on there now but haven't touched the car since. You have good eyes my friend.

Might want to change that glass fuel filter incase it breaks and spills fuel on your exhaust. They look good tho.
You have a good point, I didn't think of that. I'll will flip the hose the other way or something.
