New Carburetor For 225 Slant Six on J5 Bomidear

The carburetor on J5 bad could not find any information on what to buy so I took some measurements and found that the ford single carbs will work the one that I am using is a knock off of the Motorcraft but works great I will give an update later on how it is working out.

I have a d150 slant six looking to replace the carb saw the video and its very helpful. How did you change the auto Choke to manual? Also how did you hook it up to the accelerator? Thank you

The Chock was Junk that I just had lying around nothing special. the accelerator is a small part of chain, I guess I should have shown that, I may revisit.

What if I don’t have an automatic choke option for my industrial application? Any other carb options?

Sorry for getting back late, this unit has a simple electric choke that you could use just by adding a temp sensor to.

Measure the bolt pattern center to center that is what I had to do, it they line up it will work fine.
