My late husband got to meet Shaq in the '90s and spend time around him many times. His best friend was the mascot for the Orlando Magic (Shaq was playing for them at the time). He said Shaq was super nice. Down to earth guy. Would sit and talk with people. Didn't take himself too seriously, like a big kid. Just an overall nice guy. Also a budding businessman even then. He signed a basketball for my husband, but later had to ask for it back because he had some sort of endorsement deal with another basketball brand. Lol. Interestingly my husband said Charles Barkley had an incredibly swole head. Lol.
