Jesus is our Sabbath. He is the promised rest. The Sabbath was the shadow. Christ is the substance. We are told to enter into Christ, into His Rest. This is GRACE. Jesus Christ came to live a matchless life. He finished the work of reconciliation and Redeemed us. Our life is now lived by faith, not by any works of the Law. Jesus fulfilled the Righteousness requirements of the Law and we are now dead to the Law so that we may now serve God in a new and living way.
