3 dash, infinite slide, overcooked shotgun jump, wall leap and mario ground pound high jump. All this mechanic make double jump look so cheap lol, I love it!
After watching this, I'm at least 80% sure that V1 is the most powerful Classic-Style FPS game protag ever; while he's astoundingly fragile, literally any kill with blood can heavily heal him, he's absurdly fast, his weapons put out enormous levels of hurt, and he can punch projectiles back to deal immense amounts of damage.
honestly how you can kill him is to use hitscan (he can't punch back hitscan, as evidenced by the damn malicious face fight) and make sure he doesn't get close (so he doesn't heal) if you can use both of those strategies, you can take him out
@@BoomenDrol You can parry them by punching their face or hitting them with the coin during the parry window for their laser, yes, but you can't parry the laser itself if you're far away from it afaik

@@Hakita The music sounds like its in a different key from the OST, was this changed during development? I haven't played this yet so IDK if it's like this in the current game too.
Looks amazing. After playing Doom Eternal, this is one of the very few FPS's I still have the urge and want to play. I love how chaotic and action packed this is.
tbh, after playing this, this feels way better than doom eternal. Every gun has its purpose, and the alt fires don't slow you down, which doesn't interrupt the flow, unlike Doom Eternal. That's the one thing I hated about the charged ballista, they took too long and they slowed you down.
The current cybergrind theme is hype as hell, and this old one absolutely was too. I would love it if this started playing once you reached a really high wave like 25 or something, just go keep the action going.
Honestly I never thought I was good at videogames. But seeing that I was able to realize that maybe I'm worth a damn being able to get to round 30 on violent. I blame your game for being too fun
Since this game is inspired by Dante's Inferno and the second stage is called the Lust layer, barring the prologue stage, is there's going to be at least 9 stages at launch?
That's the current plan. The game is divided into 3 acts which consists of 3 layers each. Once the first three layers are complete (Act 1) the game will go into early access.
Well the only shooter who seems equal to Doom Eternal. Great job man and a safe buy. The idea with this dynamic arena who changes with each new enemy wave is amazing
My brother found Ultrakill on Steam a while ago, and convinced me to try out the demo. I liked the stuff in the demo enough, but I told him it left off at the best part: entering hell. He gifted me Ultrakill right after the release of Act II, and I beat the game on standard in a couple days. Then on violent. Then I started finding all the secret levels and P-ranking all the levels, then I tried fighting the one and only Minos Prime. I was told that Minos Prime was a boss that everyone would simply not fight. That people would 100% the rest of the game, but refuse to fight him. After around 13 tries, I beat Minos Prime on violent. Then I decided to start speedrunning Ultrakill. Now, I'm trying to beat the game damageless. I've tried out the cyber grind alot as well, but it's a little tough on violent so I only really get to wave 24 or so. I know this is a really long comment right here. All of that was meant to say that Ultrakill is a perfect game. Even after fighting every enemy, tearing through every level, defeating every boss, I come back to the game and find a way to make it feel like a new game, or find new ways to make it difficult. When I do that with a game, which I've only done with maybe a few games before, that means the game is perfect for me. If Ultrakill is this amazing already, I can't wait to see Act III and the next two prime sanctums. Hakita, you are an absolute legend. I don't know how, but you managed to make my new favorite game of all time.
Thanks, now i have new addiction, yes, im about Ultrakill, i do all my work and think about game then go playing Ultrakill again and again. I should rest regularly, because I can't even blink, so much I like this game
This is all I wanted from Doom Eternal. I doubt it would've been that difficult to add a horde mode; especially given that modders ended up doing it for them. These types of games benefit greatly from generated random encounters to keep the action going. Otherwise you're stuck playing the same levels again and again against the same enemies in the same places in the same order. Another thing I'd love to see in this game is an option for randomized enemies when starting a level. My favorite mod for Doom Eternal did exactly that and it made replaying the game so much more fun and intense all the way through.
This is the first time I've seen early ULTRAKILL content at all, and early CYBER GRIND music sounds so cursed to me after being familiar with the current release.
