The GP comes with passenger pegs, and a rear sets. The rear seat is pretty large compared to street bike standards. I have had this bike for a few weeks, and it's an amazing machine. It does have cruise control (included in the Tech pack) that can be purchased separately. It requires the left control to be swapped out with a control set that has the cruise controls on it.
Which is more aggressive the R or the GP? I thought the R was the raciest 890, which is the one I wanna get. I still can't understand the difference between the GP and the R versions. Great video by the way!
Thanks man. I believe that the GP version doesn't have pax pegs and pax seat. It has special cowl instead of the seat. It has a special design (livery)by KTM to implement GP genes. It is pretty much R version with a different look and a single seat situation.
@@mikey_moto_channel Interestingly, the photos of the R version from our KTM dealer and also the KTM site shows the R version has the same single-seat situation.
@@johnadams3038 the r version comes with double disk front breaks and fully adjustable suspension as well as 13 more horse power and 3 more fpt and 5 lbs less weight although they both come with a speed limiter locked at 150 that can't be removed while in warranty then you can remap it
@@Apalachiannature1976 Hi Leonard thanks! I already got the 890 R 2022 3 weeks ago. It is so good. Anyway for a "GP" version, it's kinda strange that it doesn't have dual front Brembos.
The R has 4 or 5 more HP, a handful more torque plus better brakes and suss. The rear pegs are removed and the tyres are street legal race spec. I'm still faffing about which one to go for as I'm not sure for the street I need the R.
Fantastic bike, but the price in my country, Brazil, converting into dollars, would be about 20 thousand dollars. Extremely expensive. As a comparison, an MT 09 would be 12 thousand dollars.
Have you ever tried KTM? What do you think about this brand? Write down into the comments :)
Great video man love that bike !!
thanks man..I would love to have one :) it is like a razor :)

@@johnadams3038 a single seat is something you can do yourself. They might have just modified the bike
