ARB Base Rack Platform Review And Walkthrough

The Base Rack from ARB was a long awaited platform rack that was finally released on 2020.
This is the roof rack that makes ARB a serious competitor to other overlanding oriented rack brands like Front Runner, Prinsu, Eezi Awn, and Rhino Rack.
ARB had focused most of their efforts and resources into other categories of products such as bull-bars, bumpers, suspension systems, air lockers, basket racks, and others. They excelled on all of those categories and finally they have designed a rack catered for the Overlanding market: the Base Rack.

The Base Rack is a fully welded aluminum platform rack that features side-to-side slats ideal to carry roof top tents and can hold up to 275 pounds of dynamic weight capacity which is extremely high.
Another cool thing about this rack is that it is offered to most of the popular SUVs used to go overlanding and we carry all of them.

Great explanation of the roof rack. Only video I’ve seen mentions about how you can’t remove struts.

Hey!!! Nice video! I casually have the same ARB Base Rack and the same Oasis Water Tank (yes, I have been in Costa Rica hahaha and I just bought one and put it over my previous Thule bars)
How is this Oasis water tank attached to the base rack? I’m absolutely curious about this because I’m still figuring out how will I attach it to my Base Rack!!!
