The explanation of the army formation is a great addition, providing initial thoughts of you, the army's commander, and making it easier to understand your intentions when giving commands in the field! Great job, Folcard!
It should, with a morale system to encourage people to fight in formation. If they die in formation, morale decreases slowly, but if they die out of formation morale decreases quickly! War of Rights meets Mount & Blade!

This makes me so happy to see. It feels like Mount and Blade is living up to its fullest potential. Such a special game and such a special community. Thank you for making this :)

the worst part of all this is that medieval battles were fought pretty much the same way. a large clan composed of a multitude of smaller clans, to make an army. you have to study the military techniques of the time, the formations etc. an army captain who knows this will surely have an advantage in the game!

If you joined - we have 3-4 events a week - come to any of them. Always starts at 8:15 cet - ends 9:30 cet. Join the clan come for any event you want. If you only come to one that’s only a quick hour of fun :) doesn’t take much of your week
If it were a real medieval battle, you'd only be able to speak to people within shouting distance, and you'd have to use music signals to communicate to farther away units
I have never heard of a German clan, but we take all nationalities. We have multiple German speakers too :) Anyway - you only need to know the basic commands. There isn’t many

Hah! I have been less by good and bad leaders. So I try to act as how I would want to be commanded! I’m not fully sure how the coalition do it - we have provided a teamspeak chat room for them to join to coordinate their fighting. I dare say 1 clan is stronger in communication than several.

I don't want to disparage your skill, but I think you really needed wing commanders or even just a subordinate, as you had quite a hard time coordinating multiple flanks. Commanding 300 people (so basically a standard battalion) in groups of 20ish is obviously quite a task, you're a major issuing orders directly to sergeants or lieutenants instead of having captains to deal with that, a serious command and control issue made significantly worse by the terrain, a dense forest where you can see maybe one flank clearly, with the other 2 obstructed. Perhaps even having leaders of senior units take charge of the flank could've relieved your strain significantly.

Ya we should do something like that like just choose one of the clan leaders and then they can lead are force's instead of just having to guess

We stay away from that. In bannerlord overall it is possible, not in our modpack and i dont see it happening.
It’s just nothing fun with hundreds of players chasing a horse who runs away :P
