W video per usual my friend, very professional looking
So many more AM4 CPU’s you can upgrade to in the future. AM4 is such a great platform.
IKR
I went from a 1600 to a Ryzen 3900 and it was a huge upgrade. I make video edits and also play with it.
I really need to upgrade my 1600! I overclocked it a little but still bottlenecking the Rx 5700
upgrade the cooler and the psu and overclock it more ( and you can use liquid metal :)
@@Sabkabaap6969 he can sell it and for example buy used 3600 or 5 5500 lol
What about nthe temps?
Both chip have the same wattage I use the same cooler on both the 1600 was overclocked to 3.95 ghz and under load if I can remember correctly i think while gaming it never got hotter than 60c the 5600 was actually a tiny bit cooler
I bought my self a r5 5600x for 120 on amozon used and wow compared to my 2600 it almost doubled my fps
Imagine how I feel going from first gen ryzen it’s like a different computer
Thermalright $20 USD cooler dude, like a Thermalright Burst Assassin 120. You can thank me later.
the normal cooler it comes with works fine for me maybe one day I’ll get a AIO for some heavy overclocking but I’ll probably wait until I get a better motherboard thanks for the recommendation
@@-J2grossan aio is a huge waste. Get a peerless assasin air cooler. Very very close to aio performance for $35 or less on sale. Watch gamers nexus video about it
for a cheap am5 cpu, the ryzen 5 7500f is the best option in my opinion
Yes that’s a perfect I need to learn more about am5 I don’t know much about it yet
@@-J2gross i can tell you, if you want to buy a new pc for let's say 1000-1200$, then there would be no need for am4 anymore. am5 mainboards and ddr5 ram are a bit more expensive, but at least you can upgrade it in the future and don't have to buy a new mainboard and new ram.
i still see so many configs in this price range that have am4 and i don't even understand why.
5600/X bottlenecks anything above a 3070/Ti.
For the 1600, either the 5700xt or 1080/Ti is the best I would go. Your recommendation, the 2080 is a serious bottleneck for it.
I mean the 2080 and the 1080ti are the same performance even a 3060 ti is about the same but honestly a 3050 or 1070 is like the perfect match for the 1600
My 2700x bottlenecks my 5700xt in cpu intensive games like elden ring
My rx 5700 bottlenecks my 1600 I really need a upgrade!
elden ring is not CPU intensive, I unlock my fps and have same fps 5600x vs 5800x3d more like GPU bound.@@sengan2475
