A sharp good quality knife does the exact same thing
Shingles? Sure a good quality knife with slice through it but Not with such ease and control. Pvc? Nope, never... Package material? Will most def cut but not easily and with minimal control.
Exact same thing? Not really.

Why does this clip make me want to try to cut open this style of packaging with my 4 1/2 dewalt saw? I like how it cut the shingle. About how much pressure did you have to use to pull the blade through if you don't mind me asking
Little update, tried the saw on opening plastic......very sketchy, works but sketchy

Think it comes with the tool (screw and washer) the blade is a hook blade you can get from a hardware store like lowes and home depot
How about drywall and carpet?

Who even uses that screw thing? It's the quick connect blades or a waste of time otherwise. I don't even think I still have the ring and the screw for mine. Also yeah it's a bit of a finger remover

you have to hold what you’re cutting in the air because it must be soft and bendy - can’t lay it down on a flat surface because u want the cut away piece to be hanging out the edge witch it won’t because it is so flimsy - long story short good luck creating useless content for the internet and fooling the new generation who have no idea what’s going on and would probably never try ur idea 🙂
