I was just discussing this on reddit... I remember when the dcb115 was the new hotness. It was advertised/described way back then as a dual stage charger. But it lacks the extra light the new one has. You are correct, the light tells you when you're mostly charged, which means the battery is "very" usable. I have both on my wall.

I've got several 115s. That's the charger they sell with the 12v 5ah and 3ah starter kit. They're excellent !

I wish dewalt made a charger that could allow you to charge a 12v battery and a 20v battery simultaneously just like the Milwaukee charger lets you charge m18 and m12 batteries simultaneously.

Its almost the same as the 1104 but has a 6amp output. Still 2 stage and works for all dewalt batteries

Now I understood why they push kit w old charger(115) together w batteries. Obviously 1104 is better!

Do you know if the Dewalt Charger able to charge the Bauer Battery? The design is very similar.
