@@calibratedconcepts4478 I have seen a few doing youtube videos with the games they performed in, like Bryan Dechart, he actor for Connor in Detroit Become Human played through that game a bunch, same with Troy Baker and Nolan North playing Uncharted and The Last of Us.

He got him dead to rights, honestly props to that guy. He popped into RDJ holmes slow mo and was like "official discord, high quality mic, no pops, crisp, condenser mic, discombobulate, professional voice actor, full name and VO in the discord tag, sounds like the guy from the game, google, this is the actual guy from the game."

I love the fact that the guy with the mechanicus adapt pfp is the first one who makes the guesses: “his a voice actor”, “he’s making a RUclips video”, “he’s a RUclipsr”, “I bet you he is a voice actor for the game”, “I could probably find his name in the credits” “he’s got a really high quality microphone” “he’s probably in a studio”

my guy, you literally have THE guardsmen voice, thats it. as iconic as Dee Bradley Baker in the clone wars you are the generic guardsmen. Absolutely lovely.
Nah, Scott McNeil's guardsmen in Dawn of War is still where it's at.

You know you made the days of these players bright when they're more than willing to spend extra idle time to SIMPLY HEAR your - well - voice as their character's - well - voice 😂.

@@paradoxinraindrops141 Hate to say it, but if you're looking for the Vermintide character experience in Darktide, you're gonna be sorely disappointed. Because of there being only 4 classes, and each character being customized, they have to be much more generic with writing and have less voicelines. The result is that they get old, much quicker than the Vermintide lines, and you hear the pretty interesting ones frequently enough you begin to get bored of them. Unfortunately, this is the major flaw of having a game without set characters to write for, and this is something that is part of the core of darktide.

This just goes to show they could have dropped a lot more lines into the game to make it feel more alive, the line when you got grabbed by the mutant was great.

It would be an absolute crime against humanity to not take advantage of some of the fantastic lines you shot out during your playthrough with the bois. This is such an awesome thing to be able to do an I'm genuinely jealous of such an experience!

the joy the guys had in their voices i loved it because i know how they feel, i once had the privelege to play with Nathan fillion in a multiplayer match and a few firefight matches when halo 3 odst was just out and it was the best day ever, so yeah seeing it happen again made my day.

As a fellow VA, I salute you. Also, I can pretty much do your character spot on, but I've been imitating various British accents since I saw my first Monty Python skit when I was 11, so that tracks. It was too bad about that detective on the team who seemed to know every damn thing about you. He even guessed you were in a studio. How dare he?! Seems likely he may be a psyker IRL. Maybe an inquisitor should go check that out? Can't have unsanctioned psykers going around psykering VA identities...
So far I'm just stuck doing grunt work for a VO co-op in NYC, but I sincerely hope to one day be a voice in something that's actually cool and not just some obscure Twilight fan-fic. Don't ask...
Anyway, love your work! You are an inspiration!

Oooo, did your channel get a complete redesign? I used to remember you making tutorial videos in VA. Your Captain Jack video was amazing. I learned quite a bit from you and some of those lessons still help me when I do different character voices in D&D now.

i absolutely love when the Voice Actors are actual Fans of the Franchise / Genre / Game - It's just beautfiul. And you feel it in their work - All of the Actors for this game have done an OUTSTANDING job, to be honest! Once i heared Bayek from Assassin's Creed (Origins) on the male Psyker - i was in love. Such a great team. Hope you enjoyed your work for Darktide.
