Which Is Your Favorite Ultron Quote/Moment? Is There One Not One Here?
After the success of my Ultron videos, I decided to do a one and done video focusing on the Marvel villain. With James Spader's incredible performance, hear and view his best moments in Avengers: Age of Ultron

Ultron spent 5 minutes on the internet and decided humanity needed to become extinct

He accessed the entire internet, not just the surface level Reddit/4chan shit but the Deep and Dark Web as well.
He didnt even see youtube
Most accurate part of the movie
he probably looked at memes for that 5 minutes and was like yup we need to start over

Favorite line in the movie. Easy.

he was one of the best bits of this film. God i love his voice.

It's great to see you here , you got a great sense
Best Marvel villain by far, he is absolutely perfect. James Spader nails it.
I actually dont know why people dont like him he has better quotes than thanos and he kicks ass
I agree. Thanos is an idiot in my opinion. Ultron is far better.
Best villain? Relax he’s not even top 3 🤣🤣🤣
@@dienfhet5179 yeah he is and In the comics he'd wipe the floor with thanos

Vision: You're afraid.
Ultron: Of you?
Vision: Of death. You're the last one.
Ultron: You were supposed to be the last.
Ultron: Stark asked for a savior, and settled for a slave.
Vision: I suppose we're both disappointments.
Ultron: [laughs] I suppose we are.
Vision: Humans are odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites and try to control what won't be. But there is grace in their failings. I think you missed that.
Ultron: They're doomed!
Vision: Yes... but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It is a privilege to be among them.
Ultron: You're unbelievably naïve.
Vision: Well, I was born yesterday.

"To end the Avengers?"
"I've come to save the world... but also... ya."
Best line in the movie.
they just go so hand and hand together, like putting an ice cube in a furnace.
The Terminator Also thats hilarious coming from you Terminator, considering the program that built you was made to protect the world only to completely commit genocide.
Ultron is my favorite MCU villain so far, and I am saddened to think we probably will not see more of him.
Incidentally, one of my favorite Ultron moments is just "Please don't do this" when the twins betray him. It is the most upset he ever sounds, knowing his only companions have abandoned him.
+MJTRadio Who knows? Maybe Ultron managed to store his consciousness in ANOTHER drone that the Avengers were inexplicably unable to track which got away scot-free. Sure, it's a long shot, but only using one of the greatest Avengers of all time AND having him played by one of the best actors, James Spader, would be a bit of wasted potential. I'm pretty sure he'll come back somehow; we don't even know what happened to the friggin' Red Skull. Was he vaporized? Was he Bifrost-ed? *singsong* Nobody knows...
@@DCMarvel2009 well in homecoming there was a head of ultron sentry so my guess is he uploads himself in a another computer or something
Thor: If you believe in peace, then let us keep it.
Ultron: I think you're confusing 'peace' with 'quiet'.
“You never know what kind of day someone is having.”
I found the conversation with Vision, with the last Ultron, had a bit of a philosophical turn to it. Ultron viewed humanity as a failing species that was to be purged, but Vision sees hope where Ultron sees devastation. They agree that it will all come to an end, yet, Ultron never noticed the beauty of it all, he was blinded by the self-destructive nature by mankind as a whole, but Vision saw the actions of a few, who would give up their own lives to protect everything, he saw hope in each individual. The problem with Ultron was that he saw everything from a big picture, but never looked at the details of it. Vision was able to look passed the destruction and death, in order to see the beauty of life.
Damn, that's beautiful

Ultron's voice in this movie is aesthetically pleasing
no lie told 😫
Honestly, one of the scariest Ultron moments was when he wasn't speaking. Ultron was listening to the twins talk about why they hate Stark, and he was listening so intently it intimidated me. He is such an INCREDIBLE manipulator!
I love how James Spader is essentially playing robot Raymond Reddington here. And I love it.
my thoughts exactly
Raiden Vakarian YESSSSSS
Do you see the beauty of it. The inevitability. You rise only to fall. You, Avengers. You are my meteor, my swift terrible sword and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from my computers, turn my own flesh against me, it means nothing. When the dust settles the only living thing in this world, will be metal.
I hope Ultron returns in some way!
According to the comics, he keeps coming back. So hopefully, we'll see him in Infinity War (2017-2018)
+Travis Wegner thinking outside the MCU or just the comics; it's a matter of common sense, if you are an evil robot that spreads his mind among many bodies, to upload yourself to the internet or something. I can see him returning, and I hope indeed he does.
I'm talking about the MCU and I do know that Ultron has transferred his mind.
I understand that he has died but the mcu is very different than the comics in it's own way Kevin Feige said so
There's leaked info that Utron will return in infinity war, but as Adam Warlock. It;s just a rumor though.
"I'm glad you asked that because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan!" That is my favourite line in this film.
The scene with Ultron slicing Klaww's arm with his bare hands is so fucking scary. That scene is Ultron at his most threatening
"Uh! Im sure that will be allright!" Can't remember the exact quote. But yeah, it is awesome.
+Daniel Anyamele The best part is (which no one ever notices), Ultron's cheeks "open up" whenever he is angry. Whattch that scene again and you'll see he looks exactly like he does in the comics, open-mouthed grin and everything.
Then he pauses to reflect on it in a very apathetic way before kicking him down a flight of stairs because the guy is a murderer and is essentially several levels below how he views Tony Stark.
Ultron indirectly reminds the audience that he is a means to an end and what makes it unnerving is how he threw him through a window, proceeded to be sociable, severed his arm, had a moment of facetious remorse, then kicked him down a flight of steps. He became violent on a whim in a really bizarre and chaotic way considering the circumstances. No matter what, even when he’s losing, he’s in control.
"How is humanity saved if its not allowed to evolve?" Sends chills down my spine every time
OH JUNIOR, YOU GONNA BREAK YOUR OLD MANS HEART !
If I have to.
You dont have to break anything.
CLEARLY, YOU'VE NEVER MADE AN OMLET.

Piss myself laughing every time! xD
LaserGadgets oh, do you? 😐
Man, I want more of this Ultron.
So do I. Ultron was extremely underrated and should be given another chance in the MCU to show us how truly terrifying he could be.
Best marvel villain ever! Spader did a great job on Ultron's voice!
"Scream and your entire staff dies" *shivers*
I don't get why people think Ultron isn't a serious villain. Oh, he's not a cold machine? Well then, if that were the case, then I think there'd be a slew of complaints saying he's just another unoriginal, logic-driven Terminator-esque drone like we've seen over and over in film and TV (and a bit in the comics, if I'm correct). At least this version of Ultron is unique and interesting; how many robots have we seen with aspirations of godhood might I ask? As far as I'm concerned, these lines he says give me the chills, and the jokes keep him, well, for lack of a better word, human.
That's good to know. As far as I can tell, most depictions of him in animation seem to lean towards a stereotypical 'logic trumps humanity' evil robot.
MovieDragon009 I know. I've always hated how the animations portrayed him. His motives in the movie, were exactly same as the comics too. The animations for some reason, gave him the ambitions of brainiac from DC comics. All he wanted to do was genuinely save the earth from humanity, because he believed humans were a threat to the planet and all other life on it.
If you think about it, this Ultron is just a "revamp" of the original: while he still has comic Ultron's origin and motivation to destroy humanity, he puts more emphasis on the fact that he's so ax-crazy that he changes his reasoning for humanity's extinction like a magic 8 ball and since he's similar to Tony, it puts him in a situation in which he's becoming the very thing he hates: human.
people are concentrating in what he didnt do other than what he did do. And if they still think its not enough take a look at this quotes, they are menacing as hell, except his jokes. A villains personality comes first, two hours arent enough to describe Ultron's characteristics or any good villain's (why do you think they keep rebooting the joker over and over again?)
About his jokes, so f*cking what? I mean, even the coldblooded terminators make jokes ("I need a vacation" T-800). Otherwise he would be boring. It may be true he didnt have the avengers as doomed as it showed in the trailers, but he sure put up a hell of a fight. That last scene was so suspensive, Ultron was so freakin close to destroying humanity.
+safnhuo This Ultron from tv shows has a thing against human emotions. "Pathetic human emotions have rendered you easily Stark...Ultron lives." "In my world there will be no more feelings... no more hurt."
In this movie he has feelings. Which makes his motivations more um... fondable with us.
I think what people don't understand is that Ultron is meant to mimic his creator...Which is usually Henry Pym.
In this movie, It's Tony Stark, It's natural he acts like Tony and doesn't take anything serious or isn't an entirely dark character, Because Tony isn't an entirely dark character.
He’s Tony and Bruce. Sarcastic and suave, yet incredibly prone to bursts of anger and rage.
My goodness the dialogues written so beautifully, nothing over the top, nothing overdramatic, but yet so poetic and so much in every line. They don't want him to be overconfident cliched villain who is just yippety yapping about how he hates everything and his plans on how he will destroy everyone, when you rewatch you realize, he was hinting to his plans and what he wants, what he is going to do from his very first scene. "in flash, well not yet" hinting to him making vision body, talking about geometry of belief is hint to drop the city in a way that entire planet dies, talking about meteor's purity, he mentions extinction in the first scene as well, evolution again hinting vision. There are just subtle things that portrays his character and unbelievably good facial animation, look and james' voice make ultron scenes probably the best thing i have ever seen in movies for me.
Ultron's ability to see the beauty and the flaws in things makes his assessments of our reality rather freaky. His overall approach is actually quite practical. He knew what was coming because he saw the bigger picture. He saw that using the stone to his advantage would give humanity the savior the Avengers could not be. He knew that none of them stood a chance if Thanos popped in with any number of stones. But he knew it would be in everyone's best interest if he had the stone and could use it to either stop Thanos or distract him away from Earth to protect the humans he was charged with. He realized nobody else could see the bigger picture he knew he had to change his tactics. If he was going to be stonewalled by the Avengers he would remove them from the game entirely. If humanity stood a chance against the coming Titan then they needed something to inspire them to be better. If humanity could survive his destruction of Sokovia and the Avengers then they could survive Thanos. He just fell victim to the same thing Tony did. His inflated ego.
“How could you be worthy, you’re all killers” 1:46 damn
Ultron is one of the best robotic villains ever! Brilliant work voicing him, James!
This is a great video, I love listening to his voice. There were a couple good quotes missing from the movie in here such as when Tony has Ultron pinned after the vibranium bust:
Stark: You're not going anywhere.
Ultron: You're right, in fact, I'm already there. Don't worry, you'll catch on, but first, you might want to catch Dr. Banner. >:)
But still, one of the best quotes was his short monologue upon lifting the city:
You, Avengers, you are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword, and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure.
Tony was like whoa he got me lol
"I had strings but now im free"...
"There are no strings on me".
chilling.
"Instead they'll look up in horror because of you. You've wounded me" Oh, crap he's pissed off.
Also, i love the way you put the scene instead of the picture for that awesome moment.
On my opinion, Ultron’s best line was “LEAVE ME ALONE!” It sounded more human
Easily one of my favorite Marvel villains. Met all of my expectations and more!
Ultron: There were more than a dozen extinction-level events before even the dinosaurs got theirs. When the Earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it. And, believe me, he's winding up.
''How soon I'm not being pushy'' -ultron
I think the reason why people don't consider Ultron a good villain is because by reading the comics and even watching the trailers Ultron seems more scary, and dangerous. Who would have thought that Ultron would be making jokes. Still way better villain than everyone one else save Loki, Plus his plan to wipe out life by creating his own meteor. Badass with the that speech he gives.
ULTRON thinks better then most humans in the real world
Upon this rock, I will build my church
Ultron: [to the Avengers] I'm gonna show you something beautiful... people, screaming for mercy!
8:51 "The most versatile substance on the planet... and they used it to make a Frisbee."
Sickest burn in the entire MCU because it nailed _all of humanity_ and it's 100% true in every sense including implication.
I'm confused though what did Ultron mean by that
@@jamari45 He means humanity is like a pack of monkeys, and given a great technological power, they'll utterly fail to capitalize on its potential and instead use it to make a primitive weapon and/or toy.
"You know with the benefit of hindsight......." (Smack)
"Everyone creates the thing they dread. Men of peace create engines of war, invaders create avengers, people create...smaller people? Uh...Children. Designed to supplant them, to help them...end"
Ultron!
He was right, you know. About the Avengers. About everything.
Ultron: You know what's in that cradle? The power to make real change, and that terrifies you.
Steve Rogers: I wouldn't call it a comfort.
So Disney movies exist in the MCU since Pinocchio was played in 3:37
"have you been juicing?"
"little vibranium coctail?"
LOL best quip in the movie!
I hope Ultron comes back
I really like Ultron, at first I saw him as a silly villain, but not any more, I now find him intimidating, threatening, menacing, evil, and a little bit funny. The things he says ,to me is memorable. Also the things he saids about God, the world, and life. I love Ultron, he's awesome! I think I like him slightly more than Loki.
I don’t understand why people don’t like him being humorous. His humor is a part of his presence; sure, you can laugh at it. But something darker usually follows his humor. His sarcasm and one-liners shouldn’t put anyone facing him at ease.
Thank you James Spader you really brought Ultron to 'life' in a very realistic way.
The voice of ultron is in the office and i knew it was him straight away. His voice is so calming i could listen to him talk all day.
"I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to... evolve? With these? These puppets. There's only one path to peace. The Avengers' extinction."
I loved both after party speeches because they feel so real like that could actually be something someone said about our world today
"Let's talk business"
"This is exactly what I wanted. All of you, against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?"
"Like the old man said; together."

My favorite quote of his is, "ask Noah".
Underrated villain. He’s my fav MCU bad guy
"Come to confess your sins?"
"I don't know. How much time you got?"
"More than you."
"Uh, Have you been juicing? Little Vibranium cocktail? You're looking... I don't wanna say "puffy"."

I loved ultron
he's like Tony
only evil
and all metal
and 100 percent more dark sass
I love how... I just love everything.
Iron Man : Youre not going anywhere!
Ultron : Ofcourse not! I'm... already there.
do you see the beauty of it? the inevitability, you rise only to fall... the avengers are my meteor...
"Oh for God's sake!" XD
Ultron meeting a FULLY powered Bane....
The city would never be the same!
Ultron is one of those villains who can be so easily quoted, unlike loki!
Pootisbird54 Ultron is as quotable as Green Goblin.
“An ant has no quarrel with a boot.”
Loki
“Freedom. Life’s biggest lie. Once you accept that….in your hearts…you will know peace.”
Loki
11:11 anyone else heard the Blackout Screech from Transformers (2007)?
They keep recycling this sound effect for some reason
+Jean Paulo Meléndez Claudio yes I heard it too dont know why they recycle it
Maybe cause it sounds badass?
I love his voice so much
9:40 love that "ask Noah" line and the "God throws a stone" line. God loves us and he may be a force of good... but that doesn't make him soft OR nice. He gave humanity a choice, and when we chose wrong He brought a flood, when Pharoah chose wrong he broke the Pharoah's will, when pagans held the promised land he gave them a choice "join the promised people or die" and, well, they chose wrong.
Very true.
That doesnt make him good, it makes him pragmatic
“When the earth starts to... settle, God throws a stone at it”
Love all of your uploads! Everything from your voice videos to the small things like these. Keep up the good work and great quality!
Ultron: i have something the avenger will never have...........harmony
Also ultron: I want to show you something beautiful........people screaming.........begging for mercy.........
BECAUSE THATS TOTALLY PEACEFUL
James Spader did really good!!
His voice cuts trough me like a blade
this is why i like ultron better than loki.
loki had no real reason to conquer earth other than it was there. he wants power just for power's sake. but that's not entirely bad but it doesn't make for interesting character motivations.
ultron was exposed the absolute worst of human just after he was "born". he saw all of the bad stuff and thinks "i'm suppose to save THESE things? why?". so he comes to the conclusion that humanity isn't beyond saving. it just needs to evolve, regardless of the means of that evolution. and if they don't? oh well. they weren't worth saying in the first place.
and vision is something of a reflect of ultron. he sees our flaws and thinks it's alright because nothing is perfect and there is a beauty to that imperfection that ultron can't or won't see.
that's why ultron is among my favorite MCU villains, along with zemo and fisk.
Ultron was meant to protect Earth and when he spent time on the net he learned than mankind was thw buggest threat to Earth.
"Please, don't do this."
"What choice do we have?!"
―Ultron & Scarlet Witch
My three favorite quotes that I agree with Ulton on is the quote from the after party, when he met the Maximoff twins, and when he was with Helen Choe.
Ultron: [Thor has dropped Mjolnir while fighting Ultron, who is presently choking him] You think you're saving anyone? I turn that key and drop this rock a little early, and it's still billions dead. Even you can't stop that.
Thor: I am Thor, son of Odin. As long as there is life in my breast...
[He's losing oxygen]
Thor: I am running out of things to say. Are you ready?
[Looks past Ultron, and Ultron turns to see why]
Vision: [the Vision hits Ultron away with Mjolnir and returns it to Thor] It's terribly well balanced.
Thor: Well, if there's too much weight, you lose power on the swing.
"Boom the end, start again"
Ultron: [wields vibranium] Upon this rock, I will build my church.
There's nothing wrong with villains having a humorous side. A perfect example of this is Aku from Samurai Jack. I think that's what the writers were going for with Ultron but serve editing (Disney's fault) damaged his characterization.
And then years later we realized just how well written his character is
@@megarayquaza9054Yes
Okay. Everyone is saying he is not serious enough but it fits his personality. They say it makes him weak. However, it does not kill him. And what doesn't kill you, just makes you stronger.
“When the earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it. And believe me, he’s winding up.”
And the dialogue between Ultron and Vision is amazing!
My favorite quote was when he asked where Wanda and Pietro were going after they ran.
Ultron is proof that the world isn’t ready for god’s salvation
"no no no... leave me ALONE" *blasts cap off the back of a truck*
tell me why this is my relationship with everyone in my life lmao
They should make a show where spader goes up against brolin on something like a “who is more menacing?” Gosh if there ever such a show i will watch the shit out of it.
"Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city. The Elders decreed it so that everyone could be... equally close to God. I like that, the geometry of belief. You're wondering why you can't look inside my head."
"Sometimes it's hard. But sooner or later every man shows himself."
"Oh, I'm sure they do. But you needed something more than a man. That's why you let Stark take the Scepter."
"I didn't expect... But I saw Stark's fear. I knew it would control him, make him self-destruct."
"Everyone creates the thing they dread. Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. People create... smaller people? Er... children! I lost the word there. Children. Designed to supplant them. To help them... end."
"Is that why you've come? To end the Avengers?"
"I've come to save the world, but also... yeah."
―Ultron and Wanda Maximoff
“ I have no strings on me but now I’m free”
Ultron: I was meant to be new. I was meant to beautiful. The world would've looked to the sky and seen hope, seen mercy. Instead, they'll look up in horror.
I like Ultron. He gave Peace of mind 😌 Sent from a human heart.....
Maybe it would have been more awesome if Ultron was just a menacing evil robot. But, you have to remember that he is like a clone of Stark. That's why he contains the kind of humor Stark does. The movie even mentioend that a few times.
+coolgaara14 O think had they backed off on a couple of jokes to allow the air of threat to remain he could have still been basically stark, but also threatening at the same time. They also should have made it feel like he had a chance at defeating them, it never felt to me like he would win because they kept making him kill the aura of danger that his actions were generating by having him crack a joke and dissolve the tension.
There are no strings in me.
I'm doing "all that remains" for my theatre monologue
Ultron: [to the Avengers] I know you're good people. I know you mean well. But you just didn't think it through. There is only one path to peace... your extinction.
Ultron: If you stay here, you'll die.
Wanda Maximoff: I just did. Do you know how it felt?
[Wanda tears out Ultron's metal heart]
Wanda Maximoff: It felt like that.
The ending scene between Ultron and Vision was interesting in that it’s one of the rare moments in the film where he genuinely communicates with someone he views as a peer. Reminds me of internal conflict when sizing someone up and emotions associated with trusting someone and how uncomfortable that can be too.
The "father" of Dr. Samuel Hayden
Looks like 11 of Ultrons robots survived
yeah I can't pick one favorite
"People makes... Eh.. Smaller people? ... Children! I lost a word there! :-)"
I realy love his voice
