So very cool! My Dad took the original "Rocket to the Moon" "Ride" soon after Disneyland opened when he was 2-4 i9n the early/mid '50s.
It's too bad the 2 (or Three) Videos for this (Upper and Lower, maybe Middle) aren't around any more. I love all the "Announcer/Captain" Voices. They're so familiar if you watch Vintage Disney like "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh." Cool stuff

I can't believe I just picked up on the narrator's voice. That's Julie Reems. She was an ambassador for Disneyland back in the 1960's and was in an episode of the Wonderful World of Disney.

This attraction and its successor were replaced by the worst pizza restaurant, not in the world, not in the solar system, not in the galaxy, but in the entire universe! And it's over-priced! Alien Encounter was to take up this space until the budget axe fell.
