60-191 AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL Circle-Vision Theater This track took quite a while to complete. I've included narration by Dick Wesson that corresponds to the truncated score track edited by Randy Thornton. Lots of restoration work was done on the narration though it's limitations can still be heard. Sound effects were added as well to round out the experience. Also included is the live exit spiel by the cast member working the attraction. Enjoy!

Glad to see this. AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL was one of my favorite Disneyland attractions. Didn't mind leaning against the steel rails because the AC felt so good on a hot summer's day!
They should bring back the original, but digitally enhanced. It is still a favorite childhood memory.
Considering the high-quality modern photos used in this recreation, it might actually be as entertaining as the original... well, at least very evocative. Well done! Whoever put this together really went to the effort of finding the right pictures to match the narration, and are fairly faithful to the original movie scenes. The soundtrack is superb. Still, I miss the 360 degree film/attraction. It was a real treat. Dick Wesson's voice is instantly recognizable to anyone from that era -- he was the voice of Disney short films and TV shows. I had forgotten that he was also the voice for 1960s Quinn Martin productions like The Fugitive and The Invaders. Ah, good stuff!

This was the best 'ride' at Disneyland. I loved it. I don't think they show it anymore.

This is a brilliant re-creation! How did you get such clean audio? I've been searching for several years and have never been able to find anything of this quality. Also, how did you know the narrator was Dick Wesson? I"ve inquired over the years and no one at Disney has been able to give me an answer, including Dave Smith, the now-retired Disney archivist.
Thanks, Mark! I restored a combined narration and mono music track and sunk it with the stereo source music. Glad you enjoyed it. It was a lot of work and still I'm not perfectly happy with it. Dick Wesson did a lot of movie trailer voice-overs for Disney back in the day.
