Thanks for the video! Just made the switch from MFP to Cronometer
Hey. No problem, I’m glad it was helpful. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. What made you want to switch?
Ive watched 3 vids. Yours by far better.
Hey Doug, thank you so much for this compliment. I hope it was helpful, how has tracking been?
Your video was super helpful! Thank you!!
Hey Jenny, I'm glad it was helpful. Did you end up making a decision on what app you're going to use?
appreciate your straightforward tutorial. helped a bunch!
Thank you for taking the time to say this, I appreciate you. What app did you end up going with? Or did you already decide to use Cronometer?
is there a way to track oz of water you drink everyday?
Hey, there is. You would search it up just like any other food. It isn't the best, and there are better apps, but to keep things simple, I would just do it in the same app, personally. But I have a lot of clients who use fun apps that you water virtual plants for tracking your water and stuff. You could also just use a chart on the wall and check off the days you hit your water goal.
Personally I have a Yeti bottle that's 40oz, and I just know everyday my goal is to drink at least 3 bottles. It keeps it very clear and simple for me.
Thank you for this! Gonna download the app 😊
Of course I happy it helped you come to a decision :) What goals are you trying to achieve with tracking your food?
@@Royyamada fat loss :)
Go you for taking action and starting. That’s one of the hardest parts. Is this your first time trying to lose some body fat or have you tried before?
@@Royyamada tried before and doing it again :)
What’s the reason why you fell off last time? Also do you know how to get started? Like figuring out your calorie deficit? I just posted a weight loss calorie calculator if not. :)
Thank you!
You’re welcome, I hope it helped. Do you have any questions I can help with? Not just about the app but nutrition in general?
Can you adjust meals easily. If I make a recipe and only end up eating half can I adjust easily
Yup, you can just go back to your entry and adjust the portion size. If you shoot me a message on IG I can send you a video of what that would actually look like.
@roy.yamada
Is setting meal groups like you have in your video a premium only feature.
I want mine set up for breakfast, lunch and so on but cant find this setting.
Yeah unfortunately it is a premium feature. Which is a bummer.
Where did you go to find “breakfast” and option to add food under each meal: lunch, dinner, snacks?
That is in the Diary tab. The second tab from the left of the bottom screen.
Sorry, I just realized that the free version does not have categories. That is a paid feature.
Thank you for clarifying! I really liked your review, new user here of Cronometer!
@user-kg1mm5bj2k Of course! Glad it could help. What got you into looking for a food tracking app?
How can I edit a food item from my diary? I added BBQ chicken thighs with skin. I need to edit it to skinless. TIA
Hey, on your diary swipe left on the BBQ chicken thigh entry and you’ll be able to delete it. From there just find the correct item and add that one in. 😌
Thank you for the fast reply, I appreciate you!
@@lesacontacts of course, hope it helps :) feel free to reach out if you have any other questions in the future :) good luck on your fitness and health goals.
Will this app help track sodium. I'm new at vegetarian and cooking. I'm trying to lower my salt intake.
Yup, you can toggle all vitamins and minerals you would like to track and see. That’s exciting, congrats on getting started on improving your health. Are you trying to lower blood pressure?
I wanted to eat heather and started with vegetarian. I check my blood pressure and find it much too high. now I'm including low sodium as part of my plan. @@Royyamada
