Sure. The menu is built in html5 that triggers python and is mapped to a frontplate. But can also be mapped to a material and assigned to geometry in the scene like here ruclips.net/video/UnSOHokZE2c/видео.html HTML menus act similar to touch sensors and can be triggered with the Laserpointer or the finger tip of the hand representation in VR.

Hello blogger, how do you make the UI on the left side of the VRED interface?
This is a frontplate with HTML. The JavaScript in the HTML sends python code to VRED. Check the example folder or Asset Manager for examples.
