I just finished watching"The Substance" and lets just say I am mind blown if I had to pick a favorite movie from 2024 it would be this one without a doubt I am still shocked as I cannot believe what I just watched as I am still like "what the hell" but I will say it is insane in the best way possible for me easily it is very gross and very gory but if you are a horror fan like myself you will lvoe it 10/10 and I will watch this again I had so much fun watching and Dmei shows us again why she is queen not to mention margaret Qualley is so pretty and she definitely killed it

Hated this movie. It's really just a public service announcement criticizing vanity and cosmetic addictions. It's nothing original and is just gratuitous gore. Not that it has to make sense, but come on ... there's no shared consciousness between Elizabeth and Sue, defeating the whole premise of the movie
