I lived in Los Feliz for the last 8 years, and my neighbors saw P-22 earlier this year. He was treated for poisoning but recovered. He is beautiful and the community has embraced this beautiful puma.
In all my times hiking and mountain biking in the back country, I've never been lucky to see a mountain lion. But the large paw prints on the ground sure make the hair behind my neck stand. :)
I can sit here and tell you about it all nite but I hope everyone listens . It works as long as you keep them away from house it is all good . God bless and watch it works.
All is true the animals watch you and they fall in love with you before you with them. They can't wait for you to come home and you don't even know it . So you see a raccoon ignore he is not a threat , a possium may look like a threat but not he eats all the rats and bugs around just kick him out of house with food like bugs in the bug zapper away from house , coyotes feed them up on hill with skunks . This has to be done or they will live in your house . If you follow these rules you don't know to he animal and the mountian lion will take care of the rest . Serious people true . It works
I have seen a huge cat like in Griffith part today at first I thought it maybe a coyote but looking closer nope huge cat only spotted it briefly and maybe it was P22 I was kinda far but definitely not a coyote I love cats 🐱
I want to tell this . I grew up in the city . And San Fran , Bay area and you never see wild life you do but not like this . I live in Sonoma county . And out in the country the wild life is something . I had pet , raccoon , passiums., Could not count , coyotes had names , what ever else Badgers meen guys. The thing is if you have these animals around you study them because they study you . I would be outside and the skunk knew I feed the dogs and they would at nite come stand next to me I could probably walk up and sit and pet them if anyone else would step in they would spray not at me but them and you know everybody gets it then . The animals know who they are around so don't hurt them don't be mean every animal has its purpose the moutian lion has been reintroduced back in the wild here and I have seen them yes and they are not a threat to anyone but the wild life out there , so please leave them be and watch them come back and all will see how wonderful they are .thank you Rich Molles
They have a tracking device and lots of cameras and saw he was suffering from mange (a symptom of poisoning). They picked him up and treated him with an antidote and he recovered. He is really an ambassador for his species. Oakland CA 2020
