• Game of Thrones S8 Off...
say what you will about season 8 but you cant deny the OST is amazing
Like always. It never disappoints.
Season 8 was great. Maybe one or two flaws, but people are throwing at it way too many shit. I think the problem is either that they just can't accept that the series is over or that their expectations were way too unrealistic, but that's what Game of Thrones is about. To betray your expectations of a happy ending, and even so I think it was happy enough as it is. A lesson is learned, and a new chapter begins.
And of course the Ost is flawless
@@Garmagic2yFhenrakh9 my main concern was of how they rushed the story. I wanted them to explore Dany and Jon relationship more and Dany's eventually downfall. I think they would have done a better job if they had keep with the standard 10 episodes. However I do agree that S8 wasn't that bad I really enjoy it but I will never accept Bran being elected king ! 😂😂
what does OST mean?
@@FOOOX444 Official Sound Track
One can feel the confusion that then leads to the desperation that ultimately goes towards the descent into madness.
Ramin Djawadi can arrange chaos, that is seriously impressive.
Ramin is the Orchestral version of Amon Tobin
chaos.... a ladder
To quote the first Sherlock Holmes movie, "I (Ramin), using musical theory, have created order out of chaos."
Sounds like Dany's death made him really angry. This soundtrack is pure anger/rage.
Chaos isn't a sound, it's a ladder.
Somehow I feel like I'm going crazy listening to it near the end....
dont start burning stuff "rain man"
"All it takes is one bad day to drive the sanest man into lunacy"
Your profile picture, is it from ROTK?
That’s called being edgy
“A Targaryen, alone in the world... Is a terrible thing.”
Maester Aemon Targaryen.
"OHHH, SHOW US YOUR MUSCLES! YOU'LL BE A SOLDIER!" - Bobby B
she wasn't alone...
@@davidnobre5660 She was. She lost Drogo, Selmy, Jorah, Missandei, her dragons... She distrusted everyone else (the craziness got to her, or "the dragon", like she sees herself as in the last chapter of "A Dance with Dragon".
@@PedroGomes-cx7ku Actually in that chapter she suffers from hallucinations due to having contracted the "pale mare", a form of dysentery, as she is eating Drogon's leftovers and drinking dirty water.
Daenerys, in the books, is far from madness ... at least for the moment.
[And she also had a miscarriage of the son she was having from Daario Naharis, so she is also very physically proven.]
@@stefanomodonesi We don't know that for sure.
If anxiety had a song.
More like anger and madness.
I think it suits Schizophrenia perfectly.
Anxieties theme song!
@Scott Ragan - Fact.
@@EnderWarden fire and blood.
This Is A Piece of Art, Horror And Distraction And Madness, Ramin You Deserve The Iron Thron Even if Drogon Burn It 👏👏
Ahmed Moftah He deserves the burnt Iron Throne.
"I've always hated the bells, they ring for horror."
Weddings.
Exactly.
That quiet rage that takes over at 2:10 still gives me goosebumps.
Why am I suddenly holding matches? Why is my house on fire? Who put this song on loop?
it was me :D
Funny
BURN THEM ALL BURN THEM ALL! BURN THEM ALL!!!! BURN THEM ALL!!!!!!!!
WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?
HAHAHAHAHAHA
The white hot fury and pain going through the Queen's mind...the pain of losing Rhaegal and Missandei...along with the fact that she is truly alone now without Jorah and Viserion. She only has Drogon left. Not even the man she loves will accept her love anymore. The point where she lost every shred of humanity and sanity
and still... it's a bad written fan fiction out of character story
Perfectly executed score.
Score of execution
This would fit perfectly with Torrhen Stark bending the knee. His 30000 men waiting to cross the trident and Aegon, his sisters, 45000 men and three grown dragons waiting on the other side. A slaughter waiting to happen and it all comes down to one man. It ends with him bending the knee of course but the ost would certainly enhance the scope of it all.
I'd pay good money to see this.
What are you doing here? Dutch has a plan.
I wish if they make a prequel about aegon's conquest so we can see the strength and power of house targaryen 🔥🔥
Eh, after the disappointment of season 8, I'm not sure HBO wants to do more _Game of Thrones_ epic series.
I don't think it suits that moment - the song builds up for madness, and Torrhen's knee bending to Aegon was one of the few rare strikes of mental sanity in Westerosi history ever. I think it'd fit the Fields of Fire better, of the Sack of King's Landing by the Lannisters.
This song is an ode to hate. I can feel Dany's rage in my bones, all the hate and anger, plus desperation, frustration, madness, and so on. It is frightening but beautiful. It is incredible that Ramin Djawadi managed to capture those feelings and translate them into music so impressively. I am speechless. This and The Night King are my favourite tracks from this season's OST, but I think that all the Ost of this season was A M A Z I N G
Great dissection. I agree and feel the same way. The power of music, right? I love it
@1:23 Cersei struts arrogantly towards the balcony overlooking the red keep, blissfully unaware to the fate that awaits her.
Emilia: How should I prepare for this scene?
Djawadi: Listen to this track I made
Okay that explains her superb performance in the final scene of episode 5
The way you could hear people chanting "Mhysa!" as her rage mounts up to point of no return *shivers*
I'm glad I'm not the only one hearing people chanting Mhysa over and over. It feels so eerie and in sharp contrast with the last time people chanted this to her. This is more like Mhysa what are you doing. I also get shivers everytime.
If you listen closely, you can hear a twisted version of the GOT theme at 1:44 and 2:08 Ramin is a genius bruh
No, its Danys theme being twisted
The beginning sounds like being swallowed by madness....perfect music!
We witnessed only one full targeryan till the end and this is what happened. Imagine how much power they'd have when they used to rule.
I cant imagine ....
Yet they still failed to conquer Yi To, Braavos or Qarth.
The Valyrian Freehold was powerful but not supreme. Dragons aren't invincible and I'm sure the other parts of the world had magical countermeasures of their own.
Read Fire and Blood and you dont have to attempt imagining
We'll get to see that happen next year
If you listen to the end part of this OST for some time, you begin to feel your veins pulsating and this odd anxiety fills the air.
It wasn't the bells that made Daenerys snap. It was the music
The moment Daenerys Targaryen died, and only the Dragon Queen remained.
Dany, the girl you loved, gone she is. Consumed by the Mad Queen.
Tyrion to Jon Snow
The Dragon Queen we knew 4 seven and half seasons wouldn't do it. Cersei would and in the books they're telling worse lies about her than Cersei ever did on the show.
"...Every time a Targaryen is born the gods toss the coin in the air and the whole world holds its breath to see how it will land."
In this moment we were all holding our breath. The anticipation built higher and higher with each note as we all waited to see which side of the coin Queen Daenerys would land on
The drumbeats are the spinning of the coin in the air.
Oh please, as soon as Rhaegal was shot out of the sky ( how can 3 direct hits happen when he's moving over 200 miles an hour? ) and Missandei was beheaded and Cersei had that smug look on her face? She did shout DRACARYS!
Targaryen coin of madness
This is haunting , omg , thank you Ramin you are the best
This is the one I was waiting for! So tense!
I like how the rhythm of the percussions and bass imitate a heart rate spiking, and then the more acute sounds evoke the rage or madness that increases in the head (the sound starting from 1:42 reminds me of the air coming from a kettle or a pressure cooker)
This song makes me believe Dany went crazy more than the writing.,.
writing was good. rushed, but still good.
fifth estate writing was good?? For real? 1arrow got raeghal and the other two killed him ?? An entire army can hide behind a rock with the size of two ships, from the view of a girl and two dragons in the air, Drogon fight against a city full of scorpions and none hits him or daenerys? Then dany goes killing inocent commoners on the ground knowing cerseis on a giant castle, Viserion can destroy a wall of ice and stone and castle towers and walls but not some rubbish and rocks Jon was hiding behind?? Cersei killed by fuking briks, The night king killed by Arya stark ffs..
fifth estate I can go on..
@@ludwigivanhirsch330 don't even try to write, it will last like forever...
writing was horrible from the moment petyr baelish died like an idiot. that's it. even I could write a better ending.
Not Alfie poor argument there, by your logic shitty writing simply doesn't exist, ofc I get over it, that doesn't mean it was good tho, and no, it's not that I don't understand it so it's my problem, not at all, it just had no sence and broke the story development several times. The writing was the only thing wrong with the last part of the show, that and the fact that they ended got at least one season earlier of what it should have been to have a decent writing, but make no mistake, there are many fans who would made a great ending and character storylines than d&d. So again, it's not that I have a comprehension problem, it had no sence and writing was both rushed and dumb.
Is it only me or when you hear this you can see the scene of destruction of kings landing. Damn Ramin Djawadi salute to you for this great ost
You can even hear the screams
Now imagine a 2 season build up for the mad queen and this soundtrack. Would be the greatest moment in television for the centuries to come. Now its a bad joke with godlike music
"Curiosities on the far side of the world are no threat to us."
Ironically, they made that curiosity into a threat for themselves. Or Robert did, at least.
LMAO
@Lord Angus Rhaegar did many things wrong, the fall of house Targaryen was entirely his and his fathers fault.
And to some extent the fault of every other Targaryen for marrying their family members. Without their history of incest, Aerys, Rhaegar, Viserys and Daenerys wouldn't have been so screwed up.
Nobody made anything up, Robert's rebellion wasn't a lie, no matter how Dumb and Dumber try to present it as such
"Robert's rebellion wasn't a lie"
The rebellion happened because Robert said he stole his fiance and raped her, which was u true, she loves Rhaegar...the entire thing was built on a lie lol
@@Fishcrazy321
Actually the rebellion began after Rickard and Brandon Stark traveled to Kingslanding to ask King Aerys where Lyanna was.
But instead Rickard got burned and Brandon strangeled in the attempt to rescue his father.
Furthermore Aerys commanded Jon Arryn to give him the heads of Robert and Eddard, who still lived in the Eyrie at that time.
So not only the abduction of Lyanna but also the murder of two innocent Lords and the call for the heads of two others started the rebellion, in which four of the seven kingdoms fought in and against the Targaryen dynasty.
Lyanna x Rhaegar was also never a great love story.
A married man in his twenties and also the father of two children seducing a 14 year old girl engaged to another, just so he can fulfill a stupid prophecy that vaguely says that he needs three children?
YIKES
I can feel the beat of my heart through this ... 😭
This single track is even better than the WHOLE "For The Throne" album.
Antonio Valdespino Garcia dont mention that garbage with this timepiece classic. That garbage was for to grab a certain group to sale units. It was made for money. 7 season and its now they want to make vocalist album . Fuck that
What is this album?

this scene looked like it came straight out of a nightmare
This song gives me so much anxiety and grief. I couldn't believe what was happening during this scene....
You liberated the people of kings landing
2:40 I remember that moment when we see Drogo burning the city from Cersei's perspective
Don't know why but I felt like I'm experiencing some kind of a nightmare

The war song of my queen.
Gets me every time. Phenomenal.
Ramin Djawadi's work is amazing. Even in the worst episodes, music is the best.
This music makes the entire episode amazing. I don't care about the stupid reviews, the season 8 is amazing!
Idiot
This music makes me feel like im in the battle that I was destined to lose.
Absolutely brilliant, subtle use of electronic elements in this to really sell the horror and paranoia. It's of course an anachronism for the show's cello-driven, medieval score, but it works perfectly.
Dunkirk and dark knight vibes.. no wonder Zimmer has been and always will be Djawadi's inspiration, role model.. Etc. Pulsating ❤️❤️ one of the main things that did justice to the last season, the man Ramin ❤️
Miss her so much 😔
nah...
I dont miss her. Shes a tyrant
Hate this mad violent bitch even more than Joffrey...
Same
Remember how Cersei described ruling as “lying on a bed of weeds ripping them all out by the root one by one until they strangle you in your sleep”? Here Dany was using dragonfire like Roundup.
2:10 That has to be the thundering heart of rage...
I feel you. A feeling of rage, bloodlust and the overwhelming sense of wanting to commit a genocide happens once you reach the 2:10 mark.
One of the most harrowing scenes (and OSTs) from the show.
Ramin does a great job here creating a piece that not only still sounds good, but is arranged in such a chaotic way to just evoke feelings of madness and disorder. I love it!
Гнев , ярость и безумие. Идеальный шедевр. Madness
Gives me chills every time.
I feel like this is the theme that will best a tense standoff between the major world military powers, at the brink of nuclear armageddon.
The bells have been ringing in the show since episode 1! They are always there in the background of every scene in Kings Landing if you listen closely enough. Awesome foreshadowing.
We love you Queen Daenerys
"Everywhere she goes, evil men die, and we cheer for it. And she grows more powerful and more sure that she is good, and right.
She believes her destiny is to build a better world for everyone. If you believed that, if you truly believed it, wouldn’t you kill whoever stood between you and paradise?”
Fulfilled her father's last wish
Fantastic piece! Really added to the scene.
Dunkirk vibes.

This Remainds me of "Dunkirk" (2017) or "The Dark Knight Rises" . Magnificent suspense, pure Art.....
Lord Vincenzo Leonardo Corleone III I think Ramin is the apprentice of Hans zimmer who done Dunkirk and Dk, so that could be the inspiration?

And the wheel keeps spinning...
Daenerys Targaryen the conqueror. Aegon would be so proud of her.
Nah he would’ve been extremely disappointed and pissed at her because she came to Westeros with 3 dragons, a thousand ships, and a large army and lost all of it because of her stupid advisors. She could’ve restored what he built but instead she literally destroyed it and squandered the chance of restoring her family’s house and name.
@@rigohernandez3039 True and false. In the end Daenerys didn't have any Targaryen's on her side as an ally, nobody understood her she was completely alone. If Aegon was cornered after losing everything he'd lay waste to all 7 kingdoms with Balerion.
Aegon never got knifed by his sisters. Dany had to establish herself as the unrelenting alpha in order to rein in Jon.
@@bigmeknurgle Jon never wanted to rule pretty sure his nature is already Beta lol.
@@bigmeknurgle Not to mention Aegon burned Dorn for killing his sister. I dont consider Jon a Targaryen 😂 his bitchass took more genes from traitor Starks. Ned protected Dany more than Jon did in 2 seasons. Laughable.

Amazing build up track.
For ASOIAF fans, play this song and imagine the people of Oldtowns watching as Euron and Silence slowly come closer...
‘They say that every time a Targaryen is born, the gods flip a coin.’
The music in this season was so masterful it almost makes up for the writing. Almost.
Imagine how amazing this would've been if this was kings landing preparing for the white walkers to attack :(
@wolfbitch83 In other words... a complete waste of time? They built up a major storyline and went nowhere with it... to be a distraction? Sorry, but no. That's just dumb. The wars and politics surrounding the throne were interesting enough on their own. There was no need to distract from it. The more likely explanation, which many will vouch for, is that D&D simply stopped giving a shit. Otherwise we would have seen the two conflicts converge and complement each other in a meaningful, cathartic way that brings everything full circle.
piefish that would honestly be too much. If the White Walker’s reaches KL all the Northerners, Valemen, and Rivermen would be dead. Army would be TOO big at that point. Let’s face it, the WW where never going to reach KL unless they were going to win
@wolfbitch83 What I wanted to see was a well-paced, well-written ending. What we got instead was potentially another three seasons worth of material crammed into six episodes, complete with plot holes and inconsistencies (the D&D specialty). Awful all around. And if MacGuffins are supposed to be a hallmark of brilliant writing, then The Rise of Skywalker must be a cinematic masterpiece.
This song is like smell of blood and sword sharpness
well, its all starts with a Targaryen and ends with a targaryen...
If you slice the scene out on its own, with this music... it was amazing to see.... im done complaining about the crap writing at this point... this music over that destruction was amazing.
This song doesn’t feel right without the screaming and burning of innocent people

YES. so good.
Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. Never ever piss a woman off !
But Cersei was the one who pissed Daenerys off, also wanted people to fear her "scorned" side, which was pathetic compared to Dany's
The moral of the story is, don't have a nervous breakdown while sitting on your dragon.
