Ticks themselves aren't that bad if you catch them early enough (before they really latch on), but the Lyme disease from them if you don't catch them and get a bit unlucky is terrible, with lasting effects. So the lesson from this is: if you're anywhere that has a higher probability of encountering ticks, make sure to check all of yourself as soon as you can to decrease the chance of that second part as much as possible. (I had a fairly bad case of Lyme around a decade ago, and it was NOT fun. I luckily didn't get too much of the lingering effects, but I still fatigue more easily than I otherwise would. My mom had a much worse experience with it around the same time, and took much longer to recover.) Anyway, fun video :) Edit: I forgot to mention, if you do find a tick on yourself, make sure you remove it correctly. A lot of the time if you aren't careful parts of the tick will stay in you, and they can contribute to the spot being more painful in the short term and increase the chances of Lyme in the middle-long term.
Also if you can, keep the tick (like in a ziploc bag) and go to the doctor! They can help figure out if it’s Lyme-carrying and what your risk is and can help put you on a treatment early. And go to the doc ASAP - our ability to treat Lyme has improved *dramatically* in the last decade, and now we have an antibiotic course that does act preventatively with nearly 100% efficacy, BUT you need to start that course as soon as you find the tick! TL;DR: always check yourself for ticks after a long walk in the woods, and if you find one go to the doctor RIGHT AWAY
jardon you silly billy the s++ was there to indicate the best possible rank you could’ve gotten, like when people rate movies a number out of 10 so for example, your c/s++ meant you got a c out of the best possible rank of s++. deaths and your time aren’t ranked separately, they both factor into that score.
This was awesome! Great map and love the parkour as always, loved the features they included, if they’ve done more maps it’d be great to see you play them ^_^
Fun fact the raw goods for cookies and other bakery items are actually going through their own form of shortages. Paneras all over the US are struggling to stock a lot of items because the suppliers are running low. In conclusion, 20 cookies for 17$ is a steal in this economy
I get ticks all the time when I go hiking. I've gotten to the point where my skin is sensitive enough to feel them crawling on me so I can brush them off before they bite down. If you can pull them immediately after they've bitten down they're not to bad to pull by hand. Otherwise they REALLY dig in.
Back when I was in 3rd grade I woke up one morning for school, and felt a bump on my lower region. There was a tick sucking blood and I freaked out. Went to the hospital and they took a plastic knife and dug it out. Was the absolute worse day as a kid.

Good to see my favorite childhood Minecraft RUclipsr is still going strong 👑
This man has like 80 current running series'. Dudes all over the place. Its like a bad ad spam.
@@nigellanghirt241 he only has 6 running series: Vault Hunters, Pixlemon, Terraria, MCC, CS subreddit, and the one block modpack on the main channel.
