CHANNING A Bang and a Whimper

Poet laureate, Paddy Riordan (Robert Stephens), has agreed to give a reading at Channing University as a favor to his old friend, Professor Howe. However, the faculty is unprepared for his drunken revels, and the starstruck student assigned to show him around town is unaware of his cavalier attitude toward romance.
