      I just recently found it.
Not that I fallowed Infant Annihilator, but I'm still very aware of them. I come from more of the 90s Thrash, Groove and Industrial backgrounds. A few years ago I got back into Metal with bands like Brand of Sacrifice, Slaughter to Prevail and Orbit Culture. Infant Annihilator, I can listen to, but not all the time, and seeing this gives me so much more appreciation for them, especially the drummer.

But I saw a video reaction from this video by El Siberiano Estopario, referring to this part, and he mentioned and also showed in his video, this thing (like an amplifier or hardware app) drummers add to the bass drum and it identify the note or kick, and it adds more notes or amplifies it. I’m not 100% sure what exactly it does. But he did emphasize on this same part of the video and explains what it does for the notes or kick to sound like that.

For those thinking there's something off about the double bass pedals timing - this video is recorded at 30 frames per second yet the human eye can see upwards of 100 frames per second. That's why it looks weird when the speed gets insane. Ever try recording someone's tire at high speed, or even a ceiling fan? Same effect.

Most perception doesn't react to 24 Hz. 29.97 Hz was chosen for technical reasons in NTSC. The digital age rounded this up without technical bounds of analog. 50 Hz is the Euro 'flicker' rate of light; 60 Hz is American. Discernible perception of 100 Hz would truly create insanity, yet it is speculated that some psychotics do precisely this.

Dj King Well. Most metal/hardcore is underrated, simply because the majority of the population cannot appreciate the complexity, the harsh vocals, or lyrical complexity.

It' impossible to get a significant punch going those speeds without triggers. I use to hate triggers but I get it now. Try doing what he is doing with and without triggers. I bet you can't either way. I'll be the first one to admit that I can't, yet. Playing with triggers doesn't necessarily make it that much easier. You have to be precise. Acoustically you can get way with super fast sloppy double bass because either it will be inaudible or it will sound like a rumble. Triggers call you out. If you are not precise, it will be heard and definitely noticed. I used to be anti- trigger until I played a triggered kit and sucked ass. I got a ways to go myself but I'm getting there. This guy is pretty fucking good I must say.

The idea is that triggers can be used to fix imbalances in sound caused by dominance of one foot over the other, it's why they stress getting same stick height when you practice your rudiments. Triggers can be used to compensate for that weakness by masking the sound imbalance caused by a foot that doesn't strike as hard as the other.
