I’ve been using this system for 4 years and am quite happy with it, especially for the price. I periodically lube the metal shaft with a bit of WD40 and it helps smooth out the stickiness, but it is still there. I’ve never owned another yoke so have nothing to compare it to, but I would recommend it to new simmers.

Thanks for your input! It is possible that my experience using higher-end racing sim controllers has spoiled me a bit. Glad you are enjoying it!

Having never used a yoke system before I have a feeling that regardless of the issues this is going to be leagues better than my HOTAS 4.
When it comes in the mail ill let update yall. Ive heard a lot of the issues with sensitivity can be adjusted.

You brought up a very good point about the yoke. I'm a certificated pilot and found the sim to be difficult to fly. Couldn't figure out what was happening. The cheap CH products yoke I was using doesn't move 180deg from center. Slight movements were over controlling the sim plane.
Had the ch products since the early days MSFS (1990's versions).
Upgrading everything with x-plane 12 to practice when I can't fly for real.

Hi, thanks - it's nice to have this verification from a real-world pilot! Upgrading will be great for you, enjoy - it's a great time to be into flight simulation. Lot's going on, and some great products. Please like the video if you haven't, it really helps. Happy flights!

Thanks, I wished I looked at your review before buying this. I went with it, because it was the least expensive outfit and I wanted something to get me started. I also liked the ability to add other components to it like the pedals and other instrumentation. I tried Flight Simulator in the past , but I had to use the keyboard controls and I lost interest really quickly, so I decided to get an actual controller to see if I could get into it. I'll give it a try and if I don't like it, I won't waste any more money.

Exactly what I did. I got it in my head one night that I wanted to get a yoke and throttle, and I wanted it now! Amazon Prime makes it much too easy to have purchases delivered FAST. I did zero research, but I had used Logitech sim-racing wheels before graduating to better equipment, and they were fine. Hopefully it will be okay for you, but if not maybe returning it is an option. I used mine too much and waited too long. It's packed up in the original box, I'm going to sell it on eBay of Facebook.

This yoke has annoyed me six ways from Sunday. Made it a little better doing the rubber band mod for it which made the pitch less jumpy. But still sticks slightly at some point, especially when trying to pitch up while turning. Tried lubing it, don't work. I'd wait to spend and extra $100 for the Honeycomb for anyone who see's this.

Thanks for sharing your experience, hopefully we can prevent a few people from spending the money on the Logitech. Have a cool day!

Hi, I believe in msfs24 there are some pre-configured settings for this controller.

Yes, if I recall I didn't have to set the basic controls. Are you having problems with it? Thanks!

@@FlightSimSwim problems! i have had nothing but problems. 2020 absolutely no issues at all. 2024 jeez.. ive actually given up playing the game because i cannot get all the conrols dialled in. I started from scratch and inputed each seperatley. Im having issues engine shutting down mid flight, other issues as well. At my wits end. 2020 had pre edited profile, 2024 doesnt seem to have that.

Wow, not sure what's going on. Are you using (EDIT: Removed reference to Honeycomb configurator - does not apply here) any kind of software? I am not. What plane(s) are you trying? I have mostly only used the C172 Cargo so far. I've been busy with videos lol. There were initial issues with the other C172 variants on release. I am not sure if they were included in the recent patch, which said it did address some aircraft issues.

Lol you're welcome! Let's hope MSFS24 keeps getting better - but we shouldn't have to go through this, I agree. Seems unfinished to me.

Hi! AMD Ryzen 7 5800x, Nvidia 4070 TI 12gb, 32gb RAM. I have 1920x1080 triples, with a fourth monitor above them. I also do VR on an HP G2 Reverb, but haven't tried MSFS 24 in VR yet.
