    Thanks for the tutorial! I would love to try this out too! :)
    Did you sew the curls to the head or did you glue them? Does it work the same as sewing on straight wool hair?

      Hi, on this curly doll I use this technique:
      ruclips.net/video/Ffxn8_buF9k/видео.html
      This works on straight and curly hair.
      Thank you

      @@fernandacraftroom amazing! Thank you so so much! I always attached hair like this as well but I always wondered if it would work for the curly pattern as well!

    But but… where’s the ending? You just pull the yarn off the skewers? And glue or sew on? Was hoping for a look at the finished product.

    • @fernandacraftroom
      @fernandacraftroom  2 года назад +1

      Yes, you're right! I will show the doll's head and hair in another video. Also, I plan to show the hair application to the doll's head as soon as I can.
      So, thanks for your feedback.

    Is it vital what kind of yarn i use? My doll for example is quite small! Can I use very fine cotton yarn, will this method work on it?

    • @fernandacraftroom
      @fernandacraftroom  3 года назад

      Hi
      I advise you to use a 100% wool thread. If your doll's head is small then it would be better to use a thinner "LACE or SUPER FINE" wool thread.
      Look at the table on my website: www.receitasdeferdi.com/manual-do-amigurumi-croche-qual-o-melhor-tamanho-de-agulha-de-croche-para-amigurumi/
      Hope you can make your doll hair with this technique :)
      Big kiss!

    does it matter what yarn i use? or is it just a certain type?

    • @fernandacraftroom
      @fernandacraftroom  3 года назад

      Hi,
      It doesn't matter the BRAND of the yarn, but you can choose a thinner thread for a small doll head and a thicker thread for a larger head. However I recommend that you do it with 100% wool yarn if you get the same result. You could also do with the "cotton" thread, but you can the silly hair will LOSE the wavy effect very quickly.
      Look at the table on my website to choose the category and thickness of the thread: www.receitasdeferdi.com/manual-do-amigurumi-croche-qual-o-melhor-tamanho-de-agulha-de-croche-para -amigurumi /
      - Small head "LACE or SUPER FINE" wool thread.
      Let me know if you've used the technique.
      A big kiss!

      That's nice that you found the answer to his question.
      I also wrote you the temperature under the video with the conversion from "Celsius" to "Fahrenheit": law temperature 100 ° C = 212 ° F for 10 minutes.
      Xoxo :)

    How long do u usually wait after u take them out of the oven?

    • @fernandacraftroom
      @fernandacraftroom  2 года назад +2

      I wait for it to dry naturally. This can take 1 day or a week, because it depends on the weather. Here at I live, for example, it takes about 4 days to completely dry naturally.
      Thank you

      In that case, you can try drying it with a hairdryer. You can also spray water instead of dipping the wooden hair sticks in water. Try it ;)
