The way he spoke about the Phantom at the end - I don't know why, but it brought tears to my eyes. I can't believe I haven't looked for interviews and things like this before.
I envy Tonya X) The nice thing about Crawford is that he's a down-to-earth guy. He hasn't allowed show biz to over-inflate his ego and that's really what makes him so appealing (and the white half-mask helps, too).
I'm so excited! I already have a question in mind to submit to the Q & A if we do indeed do one. I was at the MCIFA event at Cerritos a few years back and didn't submit a question partly because I didn't think the Q & A would take up the entire time and also because I was too chicken, LOL. Hi, colinmcphan! Yes, I'll be going. I'll be coming up to LA (I live in San Diego) only for the members' only event that Michael is at, which, according to the MCIFA, will be either on the 13th or 14th.
lol when I first heard and saw him as Phantom, my mum went "thats Frank Spencer" and I was like OMG when I heard him sing, I kept imagining him going "Betty! I've 'ad a bit of trouble!" but that just shows how brilliant he is, I suppose
There was several rumors about Michael - the worst, I think, that was perpetrated was that he was gay. Because of his light voice and some of his earlier roles, people thought that of him. But fortunately, as history speaks for itself and from his own mouth, he is most certainly not that way.
desertann I thought the same the first time I saw this but if you watch a second time you will hear he is referring to an earlier broadcast she did when she actually rode an elephant. She was flattered he had watched and remembered.
He just seems like such a sweet, humble guy :)
