    My favourites are the Sargent pliers. My mother had a very similar Singer sewing machine (Hand cranked) and it too had the bobbin winder on it. I spend ages watching mother winding bobbins and sewing back in the day. Great video 👍👍

    Yes sir, I would say you did very well! I have a New Home hand operated sewing machine approx. same vintage. Restoration was fun. Heavy cast iron. Thanks for sharing.

    I agree with “set down 2” regarding having someone to share your hobbies with. My wife of 40 years has no interest in my hobbies but doesn’t complain about them either. Not so bad!!! Great haul!!! I just finished a birdhouse project for my sister that involved hand tools from my grandfather and father. I don’t have their skills but maybe they appreciate me using their tools.

    Oh my achin back. You find so many cool tools for next to nothing on the east coast. I swear, I'd give my left arm to find stuff like that out here. I love the pistol grip saws, the cool pokey things, the old screw drivers. I just live on the wrong side of the country. Great finds all around. 😊

    A very good haul. You have much better luck at your flea markets than I have had this year. The Singer sewing machine looks to be in good condition for its age. Nice that it will be used and not scrapped.

    I like the belt plier/multi tool.
    It looks similar to one's still out there in use still. Any manufacturer with moving conveyor belts likely has one in every mechanic's tool bag.
    I've even helped in the use myself.

    Dunlap was the budget house brand of Sears starting in the late 1940’s.

    Looks like you made out pretty good. I really like the old sewing machine. The SK ratchet is a winner. I have one its my go to ratchet. I cant stand some of the newer ones with the big handles.

    Thanks for solving the mystery. I found a set universal belt pliers a few years ago and wasn't sure what they were. I figured some sort of leather working tool, but wasn't sure. Also I always like small old tape measures. Thanks for sharing

    Nice haul! The Sargent multi-tool is pretty cool. I like the Williams Superjustable wrench, have several and use them all the time. The Kraeuter round nose pliers are pretty cool. Have a similar pair and work great to curl/put loops in wire. Thanks for sharing.

    Ive got pliers with the exact same handle design as you show at the 1:37 mark. It has a different pliers though which are flat with slight knurling on the pliers face. I believe its a post war British design.

    I didn’t know that Sargent made tools. I thought they just made locks. I suppose there might have been two separate companies with similar names. I bet some one else will chime in and clear this up.

    Nice video. Toward the beginning of your video, what is the purpose of the pliers with the cone shaped heads? I have two pair, but I don't know their purpose? Electrical? I had a good flea market last Friday. For the first time I found an adjustable wrench branded Nissan. Good addition to my Nissan collection.
