What a great interview and FINALLY someone giving the full picture! Thank you! So my question and suggestion would be for you to collaborate with craftsman from different cities because now I want a Peter Nitz bag but it’s a bit far. It would be great if you could do some intros of similar brands in each city in Europe. TIA and keep up the great content

I love Hermes and not just their bags. I am a big fan of the porcelain and the jewelry. But I feel like their flagship bags are getting bogged down by the fakes market. I saw hundreds of “Birkins” and “Kellys” on display at Grand Bazaar on my last trip to Istanbul.
I also agree with Peter that the type of leather you choose is a matter of personal taste. I love Epsom leather but I’m also a big fan of Chanel caviar. I think box calf and barenia fabourgh are an acquired taste. Those are scary at first to own: they show scratches, acquire patina overtime, can’t be exposed to rain. But maybe with time they are better investments than caviar and epsom. This podcast made me realize that I should embrace Hermes heritage leathers.

😅 ha, when you said about physicians treating someone and never see them again…these situations aren’t happening anymore…physicians do see the same patients over and over and over and over again…anyways., I’ve often wondered how different is hand stitching leather from stitching human skin…the back skin of the human is so thick…and that’s just superficial 😂😂😂

The truth finally comes out! Don’t forget to pay attention to the rivets on the Hermes hardware, a true sign of authenticity is that the rivets will oxidize darker which is a sign that it is genuine and not just pop rivets. Hermes will only use the best specimens of leather so if there is no luxurious impression than it’s a sign it’s fake , the exception of course is Epsom which is looked down upon as the trashiest leather

If you sell to women you can't sell on quality alone. In fact women don't even give a shit about quality. The only thing they can about is prestige and credibility.
If you want to sell on quality alone, you'll have to sell to men. Even then that only works to a certain extent.
