It's accelerated real time. One day in game is 30 minutes in real life. There are a couple game worlds with slightly faster time: The beginner worlds are 25 minutes a day, and the Speed World is 10 minutes per day.
Dubai is a solid airport, demand is a bit thinner in game than IRL however. Check demand to Europe and Asia, many cities here have decent demand to dubai, and the range is perfect for the 757-200. I would reccomend that plane for dubai

I started an airline in Dubai, but I have to agree, it's hard to find a lot of demand. Its a constant battle against operating costs...

Have you played airlinesim.
hey man, sorry for asking, but I'm not sure where you said it, but you said that if you started in say, Algeria, you would essentially be stuck there?
Yes. You are locked to the country you start, except the Eu.
Have you play Airline manager by playrion ?
No, I have not.
If you do a Russian airline, would it be possible to open bases in other Soviet countries?
Yes. However when the soviet unuion collapses your bases get closed
Thundershock Okay. Just curious. How do bases get closed?
Also, can players buy other airlines?
no
I was just wondering because players can buy other airlines in other games.
