One small note: if you use easy start, the routes the game generates for your airline use the minimum turnaround time for the airplane, so if you want to use a longer turnaround then you will need to manually reschedule them.

is there another way to see the list of most popular demand for flights from an airport?

Not in-game, no. However, when you start a new route, airports are organized by size which roughly correlates to demand.
