    Clones origin by 2215 will have 120 alloy income, by 2220 after reforming to feudal you can begin doing subjugating tribute AI on GA no scaling. I've managed to do a tax of 60% raw 30% alloy and 30% research tax as early as 2222, so in comparison everything in this video in the first 20 years is extremely underwhelmingly tame, but then again clone origin is extremely broken. And as soon as you get the taxed 1,000 raw resources across the board injected into your economy you can just transition to pure research and have several thousand by 2235. And have all your subjugates transition to 75% research tax.

      @@prototype21 yeah, ai vassal spam is always the best but not realistic for multiplayer lobbies, hence I'm showing builds that don't need vassal tax to scale

    What do u think about take parliamentary system with democracy at start, then switch to megacorp at year ten, and continue build on your's video way? I'm testing it right now, trying to find a way to take building speed/cost upgrade in prosperity, than take statecraft with upgrade to leader xp gain before launching the first agenda. Maybe this way u need to wait 2-4 month before launching first agenda. What do u think, is this optimization worth it?

    Great build and great explanation, you are becoming my favorite Stellaris channel - thank you! :) One question I found myself asking is what you do, if your planets are not placed at choke points? I guess one has to bite the bullet and build up all planets as bastions? I am also curious, if it is viable to place habitats at choke-points? They seem very soft to attacks, but maybe the hold their own with 90% bombardment reduction? (might come too late though). I am also interested in what you take as your third civic (missed it in the video)?

    Just an FYI, you can now build holdings buildings for each of your subjects directly from the contacts page. There is a tab at the bottom for your subjects. You no longer have to try and find their capital system on the map. It makes things much easier to see everything that’s going on and to access agreements.

    Gensis preserves are +5% Unity from Jobs per colonized planet, it doesn't really synergize with a trade build. I don't have the DLC but is the +5% Unity from Jobs per colonized planet only on the planet or is it empire-wide? E.g. if I had a Unity Ecu would having 10 Genesis preservers on 10 Gaia worlds give the Ecu +100% Unity from jobs?

      It comes with planetary feature which is created upon colonizing the planet, it dissappears when you uplift the species unique to this planet

    Banked research is drained each month by at most your current research of that type. Simply put it doubles your research until it runs out.

    Nothing special about a tech rush build mate. they have been around for ages. come up with someone original. like mine. infinite resources come back when you have worked that one out ;) ill watch that, A little sample 30k + energy 15-20k materials 30-60k food all per month and all always going up none stop, that being said its a slow run. i dont rush things i like take on the galaxy at its strongest not take them all out before they get a chance to grow like most people, you including im sure. by your build.. thats so boring not hard at all. oh and i never have more than about 10-20 systems also do you know what the word META really means ? people use it a lot in the wrong places lol. im not sure you know the meaning of the word FYI nor does google it seems lol. Happy playing sorry to rant

    I am playing this with grand admiral scaling on x1 tech and traditions and with those settings you have to make no misteps or the economy collapses before you finish sythnesation. I had to get the uplift techs to get the extra pops or my economy would have collapsed and killed my run,. I finished ascending at 2022 and then completed the synthetic tree in one go and statecraft a year or so later. It is a real challenging run where it is possible to lose and you are kitten weak for the first 30-50 years. I didnt go dark consortium , I went genesis arks and meritocracy and will respec soon for a catalytic allot build but not decided yet.

      @@melancholia34 you probably have traditions set to 1.0 unity cost. I am playing with 0.75 unity cost as 90% of multiplayer lobbies use this setting

    Totally off-topic but I always wondered how people in MP get so many techs so early and the only difference in game settings for me was difficulty scaling tech cost. But surely it can't be that bad so I checked it out and it's a whopping 30% per tier of the tech. That's crazy. That would explain it lol.

    3rd Civic: Shareholder Values. You get a coordinated fulfillment centre building that increases alloy/consumer goods production by 20%. The penalty is population growth speed (irrelevant since your synthetic) and a reduction in the habitality ceiling (mechanical only) by 10% and slowly convert the planet into a Tomb World. You also get a policy which you can use to increase the bonus by 50% (so 30%). On face of it, sounds like a mixed bag. BUT, on a Arcology world, your habitability remains at 100% and it never converts to a tomb world. 30% alloys/consumer goods for 1 building slot? WORTH IT.

    I'm litteraly playing this with a mate nowadays. Sole diff is we take Sovereign Guardianship for empire sprawl pop reduction, and go for a delayed Dark Consortium after getting Galactic Administration tech.

      @@unholyxeras8182 yes you need it + the deposit must have been seen. Finally, agenda requires à Tier V tech to bé researched. But with the SHEER amount of tech this empire outputs (3k tech in 2280), this is not a problem.

    Is it worth holding off on ascending until the last of your starting species has declined to maximise the strength of the identity repository building? 80 science, unity, trade value and +40% robot output is a crazy strong building Also, surely having robot assembly plants on all your planets is vital to keeping your economy more stable during the situation. Sure they use alloys, but having more pops would let you work more jobs to counteract that

      If you are playing in single player and want the maximum lategame bonuses, this could be good, in multiplayer it's often worth ascending right away to start the economy as fast as possible

      Although in this case the pop will be unemployed so best to wait around 3 years before getting rid of the enforcer. Another thing is that I think you did not promote your materialist faction. If you do the other faction should disappear very fast, as a faction needs 5 pops to exist.

    a tip i learned from leastfire: create a robot template with both assembly speed traits (IMPORTANT: can't be template of your main species. use basic robots instead.) and force assemble on all planets. then set the assembly robots to assimilation. this allows you to put only resource output traits on you main species and still benefit from assembly traits.

      The Transformation event chain ends with a straight choice, you just have to pick the Modularity one.

    You can use synt agenda to boost speed of getting synth tech... Just need to research that first tech pre robot, powered exoskeletons... It takes with good science 6 months to research it, then synth agenda gives you 25 % for that last expensive tech needed, also go for 40 eng boost from start and academic privilege to boost science from start, work robot jobs and resettle robots to capital since there you have free jobs

      you need to research powered exoskeletons 1st. then the agenda will give progress on the next robot tech.

      Yes, powered first, that will derail you for 6 to 8 months from robot techs if you do it at good time on full settings GA, worth it to me for 25% on last tech needed for synts that is expensive on normal tech GA settings that I play with... But other stuff I agree, also imperial is good for this build if you don't want to megacorp. 10% for all resource in capital is better then 5 for specialists you get from egalitarian, and up until synth asension you are producing it all in capital, don't see the use of egalitarian other then that. And I just dip only 3 traditions in statecraft. Then save all the unity for synth think it's really important to finish it just as you get the tech needed for it. And unity in this build is really scarce. And for me, taking materialists without academic, feels like a waste of ethics :)

    What's funny is I did a really similar build today - seeing your build be 95% the same is funny. I really like the genesis guide innovation; I didn't think of that and just went parliamentary for the very early game boost to get synthetics quickly. Can I ask, why do you use mega corp? Is the physical mega corp gov good? I went for physical democracy since the extra edicts fund and specialist output is nice.

      I use mega Corp because a single branch early game can carry the entire economy through tough stages when the energy credits are scarce. Lategame, it could be advisable to switch out if you don't have many branches. Also, sometimes I play with. Merchant guilds players in MP and get thousands of energy from branches

      Genesis guides is OP but for this build on the unity generation part is not reaching it's full potential since you really have bad monthly unity and uplifts just multiply it. So you're not getting the full bloom like with other builds, but then again usually you need unity in other builds to rush ascention and get 4 traditions ASAP and here you have it easy and can ascend with first so unity not that super important

    I like kill all my pops to to get 40% output (+research and unity boosts). Is this good or bad? Beside that, I rather choose virtuality, because virtual leaders are immortal and oligarchic gov is the best amongs other synthetic govs. (-20% edict cost, -50% empire sprawl from planets)

    Aside from the well known Tupolev + leased 747-100, Is there any other strategy against the game in single player? Doesn't matter what I do, in about 6-8 years I loose my 1st place against Airlines where the inventory is random planes that would discourage any sensible passenger (1 each of every Boeing, 1 each Airbus and then tens of Soviet Planes), they don't do any SO router, my occupancy Is 100% on SO routes between the biggest airports. And yet I'm not able to keep up. I want a semi-realistic experience, I'm not buying junkers, plus if you start at a later, 747-100 might not even be available (and leased aircrafts disappear over time). I tried to raise the Service Level, I used a bit of advertising in every city I fly from, but simply I don't have the resources to keep up with the expansion. Does It even make sense to develop a short haul network considering you don't make money out of it? I'm lost. Is really the Tupolev+ 747 the only way to go?

      you need to swap the previous leader to another
