It's bleed scaling is way too low and can't be increased. The regular great-katana with bleed affinity is much stronger, especially with that triple slash it comes with.
Since you use Howl of Shabriri, consider adding in the Aged One's Exultation talisman for +20% for 30 seconds after buffing. Similar, since you are 2-handing the katana, equip Madding Hand in your offhand and swap to it after buffing Howl of Shabriri fo that extra +7.5% dmg. Together, these are a free and easy 12.5-15% dmg to your build (depending on what talisman you swap out).
@tkcjazza i don't mean hot swapping, I mean having the madding hand already equipped in your offhand 2nd slot, next to seal (very light, so maybe you still med roll with current endurance level). Then after buff rotation is done, rotate your offhand from seal to madding hand and start 2 handing the katana. The talisman is already equipped beforehand , instead of 1 of your current ones.

great build mate. i dont have milicent pro talisman so i swap with axe talisman for charge r2 attacks and it works asswell. do you think is it worth to play another ng+ for milicent pro?
@@DenizSerifOnaran yeah it can be worth it, the buffs are one of the strongest in the game but of course things like the axe talisman are a perfect replacement :)
These weapons are so fun but so damn slow. I hate how the game favors fast strikes and dodges because of hyper-aggressive enemies. I can't even finish the moveset with this weapon before someone hits me.
Hi jazza I have a 430 samurai build and just got this weapon so what would you recommend for the stats on this build, and is the 80 soft cap pretty much for all individual stats as my dex is set at 90 or is there a hard cap that is 99 for all stats many thanks for your help 👍💯
@@marcusfenix-coussens9646 I mean all you really need is like 80 vigor/str/dex with like 30/40 endurance and then delve into whatever you want after that - so if you want incantations as well pump more into faith, if you want to have a mage infusion, delve into intelligence - you have enough stats I think to cover literally everything :)

Guys use this build against Melania if you’re having trouble against her. I didn’t even have the complete build and was still able to kill her off on my second try ever, with mimic + 10. I’m really not good at this game at all so it had nothing to do with skill… kinda feels like I cheated tbh

@@tkcjazza I'm waiting for the proformace issues to be fixed. It is hard game, I don't want fight lagg same time as I'm fighting a boss. Strange that tec issues are back with the DLC

How does this build hold up in the DLC?
Im currently fighting promised consort and i dont want to use a larval tear if the build doesnt hold up well in the DLC
Also if this build doesnt hold up well in the DLC can you recommend any other builds on your channel that may help with specifically promised consort?
@@ABagOfRadiation all the builds I show hold up well in the DLC - this will stagger him and deal like 5/6k damage with every charged heavy :)

The fact that you can't increase the bleed buildup makes this take a backseat to the regular great katana.
Yeah I use the great katana with Occult and it slaps

builds don't really exist past level 225 you can basically use anything and do damage at that point
