I'm a foreigner in China, I use Taobao almost everyday, you can just search in English, but if you do you will get the more expensive version of the item, I usually just translate, copy and paste DONE

I bought custom made wooden plates and cutlery ( engraved with our date and names ) as our wedding favours through Taobao via air shipping. No problem at custom, arrived within a week to Sydney.
i used to buy as MUCH as possible off taobao whenever i visited china in the summer, i live in the US and haven’t been back in a while and this was sososooo helpful :D

Thanks for making this video. I had a weird encounter today. 2 sellers told me they couldn't see my delivery address! I opted for direct shipping from sellers. Didn't have this issue before with other direct shipping. So guys , if you get a message from the seller , just inform them. Happy shopping

yes you do! you need to combine your packages and then pay for the international shipping fees :)

Is there a way to notify or request the warehouse re-enforce packaging? I've ordered before only to see that the warehouse took many products out of the original packaging and most arrived damaged as they didn't add extra bubble, etc. Thank you!
the blue icon is 阿里旺旺 which you need to download and install it separately in order to contact the sellers

I wanna know how all the parcels from different sellers are combined together at the warehouse ? And how would I know how to combine them or how would the warehouse know that I have parcels on the way which needs to be combined and then send ? Is there an option for combination with a limited time to combine it ?

i should of watched this video before buying a lot on taobao because i ended up refunding every order because all the sellers cannot ship to united states. i cannot figure out how you know if they are able to ship to united states or not.
If you use mobile app, just choose your overseas address, it will tell you if it can be delivered or not
Hello! I understand that this video is over a year old but I’m having an issue, so I picked air freight for my order and I made all the payments and everything was going good, it arrived at the warehouse to be shipped over air. So I was waiting for the “picking” process to be completed and it finally was done and ready for shipment. For the last 3 months it has just said that it is ready to be shipped however it has not shipped over air yet, I am very confused on what I am suppose to do because all it’s telling me is that it’s waiting for the warehouse to be released and that it’s ready to be shipped. I only have one package and it only weighs 1.732kg. If you could help in any way at all that would be great!

I'm sorry if this is bothering you on this old video but since its about Taobao international shipping, I feel like it is best to ask here...
So basically, I was ordering stuff on Taobao for the first time, and I made a mistake in that one of my item I bought exceeded the dimension that they international shipping allowed for my items... and because of that, the warehouse rejected my parcel/package and they told me to get a refund with my seller.
So my question is that... since my items was rejected by the warehouse, how am I supposed to do the refund since I don't know how to contact the warehouse or if I need to contact them at all in the first place and all of that process... the seller is also basically talking in circles so im getting nowhere there either since they told me to contact the warehouse to ship the item to their return box (or something along those lines) and then request a refund but those items should have already been sent back since they were rejected so I don't know what I am supposed to be doing anymore.
did u pay with PayPal? or something like that u can dispute the fact they're not giving ur money back

you can tell if you click into the product and go to the 运货bar. in all my experience they usually can send internationally, if they don't, when u checkout u won't even be able to pay for it

Nope! When it’s over $1000 AUD you have to pay additional taxes/gst for australia but i ain’t got that much to spend 😂😂

(Can be a bit personal but im still not sure about the payment systems..) i ordered few items from taobao all air shipping cause im in canada. (I don't think i had option for sea.) One of the item is now in the awaiting section where it says 等待买家合包 (waiting for the customer to pay) and it says that my item is 0.17kg but it'll cost me 245 yuan because 计费重 (available charging space i guess..?) is 2.4 kg.. Is it normal? even when i calculate, i never end up getting this much price. Is this price usually normal?? Should I wait for other items to be arrived in warehouse so that i can combine?

hi! i have just ordered with air and I was wondering what should i do after I have paired all the shipments into indiv 3kg packages. I have also paid but I see a 'confirm rec' (blue) button in my 'to be received' tab. Do I have to press that button to confirm paying with Alipay or should I wai until I have received the packages to notify that I have received them?

i'm a little confused but you need to pay for your international sea shipping first - have you done that already ? you should be able to pay for it after you combine the packages.
Hi babe!! Nice video, pretty comprehensive and impressive. I ship to Singapore and I used 3rd party shipping option. Amazing choice I would say. Food, liquid stuff and makeup can be sent to my place. It is really good since I can't return to China on yearly basis because of covid!

4 hoodies of normal size definitely would not be overweight unless they're of a larger size and heavier material. But if they're just like normal hoodies then it shouldn't be too much of a concern for you!
