Rush was a national treasure …I am baffled the EIB network hasn’t done anything that allows his followers to go back and listen to all of his shows in chronological order

more again and I can’t figure out why nobody has bought his content to release or why the EIB hasn’t done this on his app. If you haven’t listened to what’s available on the apple podcasts you should it’s great…even if it’s 5 to 25 min clips with commercials if you can believe that
@@johnnyutah1983 Yup I listen to all I can of his past shows! I wish they would play more of his clips live on the air, during the Clay Travis and Buck Saxton show, but they don’t do that anymore.

I want to go back and see how Rush Limbaugh was handling the Republican Primary contenders in 2015. What he was saying about Trump while Cruz and Rubio were still around.

Listened to Rush daily from 1991 till the end. He had insights that no one else ever had, I really miss him.
Me and Rush spent every day from 11-2 for 20+ years. I haven't listened to a minute of talk radio since he left us.
There hasn't BEEN any 'talk radio' since. Rush Limbaugh WAS 'talk radio.'

I wish he would have given up cigars, we might still have him with us. I listened to him every morning while out in my shop. I don’t even turn the radio on in the AM now. Miss his voice and political expertise.

Because if they did, they'd have loved him. True story: Back in 96' a fellow military member chided me for listening to "right wing" Rush. Fast forward, 2013. He called me. We were both retired from the Air Force by then. He made his way back home and was driving a truck. On his local route, the only thing he could get on the radio was AM. So, he decided to listen to Rush. The purpose of the call was to tell me, "I owe you an apology. I was like everyone else that claims they hate Rush - I hated him without ever listening to him. But now that I've been listening to him and I realize how wrong I was. My life has changed." How many people that hated him actually decided to step outside of what their "news" told them to find out for themselves? It's like reading the Constitution, once you know it for yourself you see all the lies told to you about it. God bless Rush!

Rush was the BEST !. I used to listen every morning when I lived in San Diego, back in the early 90's. I think it was 760 KFMB.

Great interview, even with the super-lightweight Paula Zahn asking, at times, pretty dumb questions. Thanks for posting this. Rush really did have a steel-trap mine and could articulate his thoughts so skillfully. Too bad he didn't stop smoking; he might still be with us if he had. Miss you, Rush.
One nitpick: the date you claim this interview cannot be right (Nov. 1, 2000), since that would've been right before the presidential election that year. At points in the conversation Zahn and Rush are talking about the upcoming primaries, and at one point Zahn mentions the election (or the primaries, not sure which) being "14 months out." I'm guessing this was taped in the last few months of 1999.
You are probably right. When I researched this I could only find reference Rush made to an interview he did with Zach on Nov. 1, 2000 but I do have other clues that 1999 might be more accurate. With that I will change the title and description. Thank you for watching and pointing out the mistake.

Some people look back at "the prime" of their life; Rush lived in a prime state his entire life. He lived 10 lives in 1. My lesson learned: Not that I didn't appreciate Rush when he was here, because I did - but, make sure you appreciate gifts like him while you have them, you never know how long you'll have them.

At the end, she asked rush if he was cutting back on cigars because of the cancer risk. He said heck no… very little risk. It may have been low, but unfortunately, it must’ve been enough. 😢

The first time I saw Rush was on the Pat Sajak Show in 1990. That was very memorable! :) Listened to him off and on for over 30 years until the end.
I lived about 5 miles from him while he lived in Sacramento. Met him two or three times in the early years before he was anybody. I don’t think he changed any from the first time I met him to when I saw him last time on TV. Used to go to a local hamburger joint, in Rio Linda. They served the Rush Burger there. It was their biggest hamburger. Lol

wow i didnt realize Paula Zahn went to fox. I wondered where she vanished to in the late 90s when she wasnt on the morning CBS show and before the trolls come out, No, I did not have cable television at this time to get fox. IT astounds me that this interview was so respectful. It just shows how far modern "journalism" has fallen in the last 25 years.

Scarfnatinon to that Deborah Burks. Rush had some awesome insults and could make anybody laugh. I was just as excited to see the man run and he won. I still avoid that viscous angry media and hope the current president is okay. I'm not american but was so surprised what the media did to this man i.e. Donald Trump. I must be special. Run or not. Write in 4 Trump.
