Mandatory's 21 AV looked SUPER tight on Leymour. Without any avoidance on the tournament realm, it might not be possible to survive his one-shots on a 22.

Nice recap. Also, wanted to say you do an excellent job of explaining everything that is going on in the keys. There were many things you talked about that I had no idea was happening.
I think DOA and team should be in charge of who is shown on screen and how many at once. Sometimes split makes sense, sometimes they’ll focus on one, and occasionally they’re trying to talk about a team production won’t even show

I would want to watch TGP but with the 4 screens at the same time, I can't concentrate on anything. They should try to do something about that. It's really not viewer friendly like this. At least imo.
It’s kinda like watching the Tour de France, a marathon, or a F1 Race. You’re not necessarily watching an individual performer except for in specific moments. In general you’re watching for the story.
I do understand how it’s different than watching somebody’s run on their own personal stream and how it’s not appealing though.
I *_really_* wish that WoW would move away from split-screen tournaments. I can never follow what's happening and it only results in stimulation overload. Might be my ADHD, but I would've vastly preferred one match at a time.
Wouldnt the Tourny be x4 longer then?
Well a solution for that could be the regular splitscreen with commentators and then additionaly seperate streams of each group so you get to pick and choose who you are watching...

I dont have adhd or anything and am great at focusing... I also struggle with split screen. You always miss a bunch of stuff :/
@@dread46 That's what I would've preferred the most, just being able to pick a team to follow. I understand that would require 4 times as many commentators and that might not be feasible but if I'd have to pick between what we have and a stream focused on a single team without a commentator I'd pick the one without commentary any day.
"If the other teams had fewer points, exposed wouldn't have been eliminated" - this is the kinda pro analysis i expect!

I thought there had been a change to tgp where all teams made it to day 3, was I making that up or did it get reverted?

Yeah, that is just for Global Finals.
Changes for group stage is 3/2/1 dungeon reveal format and going down to 2 cups instead of 3 cups meaning 3 teams make it to global finals from each cup.

Yeah if this was in a raid it would be got fixed immediately. It just shows you need exploits to pull big with trash that has so many unavoidable mechanics.
Hate it, looks terrible to watch also eliminates any possibily of melee or in general specs that cant get to those positions...

What was the timer controversy? I watched the whole thing and didn't see anything.
Mandatory almost got dqed because they didn’t take a break. Had to abandon a key 25m in.
The controversy was that an announcer mentioned it, and they only wiped after they probably heard it on the wow broadcast

ps FU Aug FU VDH (spriest 45sec cd on kick, mage 24sec cd on kick, evok 40sec cd on kick, rdru no kick, vdh all the kicks)
will blizz still make TGP teams fight against affixes in the next expansion? knowing those affixes are gone doesnt completely erase the bad feeling i still get in my stomach when i see them listed next to a dungeon name. standing on a pole to avoid mechs and rotation simulator is the kind of cheese even tho it's smart i have never liked. i'll never be leet
They're meta because of the raid buff synergy and their aoe stops are on a low cd. Mage especially has low cd on db blast wave
