Thank you for this. This was the NYC I knew and fell in love with. Worked downtown. Lots of construction. NYC that was pre Citi bikes, pre escooters, pre Occulus, pre Uber. iPhones were still new and Netflix and chill wasnt a common saying. Good times.
Ah! I remember early 2010, I never play video game all the time at that time. But I always play outside at that time and that the good news. Now days we mostly stay home and watch RUclips videos in 2021.
Anyone here in 2022? Seeing this footage is like contemplating a world that it's gone and will never come back. I was in NYC in 2009, a year before this video was made. I imagine many of the bars and restaurants in this video are gone, given the pandemic.
Great moment, in 2010, i was a kid, i went to the usa at that time, songs like neyo, lady gaga, beyonce and playing gta 4, i couldn't wait that 11 years later, i would miss that time.
Amazing Video like all those of the World - Cruise. The Camera man/woman has a special talent to capture the soul of many cities in the world in his/her vivid videos.. !
how can someone dislike this? i think 6 people have been drunk and missed the "like-button" !!! great video - please keep up doing such great videos =). i´m far away but it feels like acutally being in nyc. thx for that !
Awesome. As someone who goes to NYC quite often, I realize that you cannot capture enough New York scenes on only one video. New York City is anything but drab and has areas of very interesting architecture. Your video provides highlights of notable areas and, as always, you make viewers feel as if they are actually there.
I don't know who you are buy watching your videos of Japan and this one for NYC, with the sights and sounds, I am reliving every minute I spent in both of those places. It's amazing. Thank you for letting me feel like i'm there without actually being there.
I believe Manhattan is the place for all times of people ! You see gay people kissing and holding hands and smiling on every street. You see Asians happy and taking pictures, and you see the tourist in amazement of the city. I love New York !
@mexicoelmejor1 Underground the train system is another world in NYC packed 24/7 running all night. So in some spots pressure accumulates and they must let the pressure out, so they put those things there, specially in the summer.
Great work as always, but i must admit i expected to be more awed by the scenery. Maybe not the best places in Manhattan, or maybe the weather, i don't know.
ohhh man you nearly cried .When i watched, i felt as if i was there. i realized that I missed there a lot! thanx recording well. how many day did u spend in NYC? so long
Great quality vid egawauemon. However, for the future I recommend the following places in NYC to give a better feel of the energy of the city (in addition to Times Square): 34th street/Herald Square, 14th street, 5th avenue, Canal Street/Chinatown, either the 42nd street or Penn Station subway platforms at rush hour, and perhaps one of the myriad festivals always going on somewhere in the city.
@lancerCNCS1 Also Rockafeller Center, Top of the Empire State Building where people are viewing the skyline, MSG, tour boats that goes between statue of liberty and manhattan
2010 is the best year
I can't describe it the cars the people the quality of videos the vibe
There's just something so special about that era
@albert einstien i was born in 2003 lol
Perhaps that's why i feel like2008-2014 are the best years
@albert einstien stfu boomer not everyone is like you, let people enjoy their nostalgia just like you can enjoy yours.
@albert einstien Not really,It was before tik tok cringe existed and times were still peaceful even after 9/11,Especially on the internet.
It's called nostalgia.
@@gRIO904 can't be nostalgia because i never lived in new york or the US

last moments before everyone got a smartphone. we’ll never go back to this sadly
Days when Minecraft was unknown and people didn't have air pods, children played call of duty and not Fortnite
rest in peace early 10's

Yeah man, I miss those times, plus CrownVic Taxis everywhere that time, now they’re just using boring Japanese cars like the Prius, Camry and Sienna
This video is still refreasing!
i want to live in new york .
It feels like being recorded by some latest series of IPhone. Very very doesn't seems like 2010, except for the people's clothes or hairstyle
Back when they still have toys r us in Times Square 😔
As a kid I loved that place

@mrntnce it rains all year round, but its pretty random. I'd say normally two out of every seven days it's raining.
