What’s the difference between the old taps and the new taps ?? I’m looking to put in bath shower mixer taps (like the ones you just took out) but now I’m feeling the new ones you just put in ❤️
The new one has tempreture control. You set the tempreture and only need to turn it on and off. With the older taps you had to play around with the hot and cold taps to get the tempreture just right. Furthermore, if you have a tank as the water goes down it is not as hot and means the taps need constant adjustment until temperature right. Hope it helps and do let me know how you got on.
Hi bro, may bath mixer is the old one and when somebody flush the toilet the cold water dissappears and left with really hot water, will this thermostatic fix it
Hi, the product is Grohe Grohtherm 1000 Thermostatic Bath and Shower Mixer Tap - 3415600. However ensure they have deck mounts otherwise they won't come out of the bottom of bath.

Thanks Alex. Do you have any recommendation or anything you liked. Appreciate the comment 👍
Hi, thank you for your video. Are the tap mixers always the same size ? I mean the measurements between two taps , the cold and hot tap .
They should be but I have been caught out sometimes. So always worth checking.
I need to replace a showerhead on the bath, but I’ve never done one before yours looks quite posh. Where did you buy that??
Look around you will be suprised sometimes people have them lsted and never used
Hi mate, at 4:40 under the bath what are the white clamps before the locking nuts? I need them!
Worth a check on ebay. You will be surprised with the name. But if you found them great to share with all

How’d you get on? Is it a simple DIY job?

It is a little tricky if it's your first time. As long as you have the right tools, it shouldn't be a tough job.

Where does the shower hose fit??????
Underneath the unit.
You lucky to remove it sometimes is very awkward to use spanner’s I use the long arm one much easier
Very true
Good luck with them taps and soapy hands
😊 do not know how but got the job done.
funny how all the old copper piping is still new looking
Yeah. It is a new build so only been around for 5 years. Hasn't had time for oxidation.
never ever put teflon tape on instead the washer should tighten it .
Fair point but it sprung a little leak so had to use ptfe.
