    Your final shot is so blued out and desaturated it's hard to examine all the beautiful work you did.

    Can you combine your prosthetics? For example, this Burn Victim 'mask' and the slashed smile pieces?

    I was thinking it needed more red... but maybe that's why my scars always look too fresh. Lovely work as always. :)

    • @nimbacreations
      @nimbacreations  9 лет назад +3

      Yes this is healed, not fresh - more 'fleshy colours' needed ;)

    • @middynighty
      @middynighty 9 лет назад +2

      ^_^ Yeah, the colours in this have really got me thinking I might try some more things like this. :D Thank you for the inspiration!

    Love the work, but should of powered the edges to prevent stickiness from the adhesive. Lets you apply paint better as well, especially if you use foam latex.

    How to avoid gelatin prosthetics from melting in hot weather please!!?

  • @sharpshotefx
    @sharpshotefx 9 лет назад

    This would probably be impractical for filming because the melted gelatine would probably cause continuity errors if reapplied between shoots, wouldn't it?

    • @nimbacreations
      @nimbacreations  9 лет назад

      Not all shoots need pieces like this that go over a days shooting. This is a quick and simple way of getting a look that would usually require a lot of sculpting, moulding and casting that would usually take weeks to achieve ;)

      Once you've applied the prosthetic, you can't use the gelatine again but you can melt and re-cast many times.

    Wont the adhesive rip off his eyebrows when it's time to take it off?

    • @nimbacreations
      @nimbacreations  8 лет назад +1

      No - it's sticky, but it doesn't bind to the hair - we also sell prosthetic adhesive remover to help break it down: www.nimbacreations.com/product/prosthetic-adhesive-remover-50ml/
