Guy Martin is just such a great human being. Having met him a few times his knowledge of bikes is just unreal. The best sport in the world is full of the most genuine people.
100%,,he's a real man ,proper gent,,to top it all though he's ridiculously funny man 🤘
I started riding bikes at 14 now at 60 years of age I feel the same excitement as I did then nothing compares...!!!
😂😂
I pop back every now and again to give this a watch, very well put together fair play to you Victoria 🙌🏽
I hope you keep interviewing these legends that was great keep going ! Jason New Zealand
I love when you see Guy talking his hands are grease and oil stained. Everyone else has these nice clean hands. You can tell he is a tuner first rider second.
He is a mechanic by trade, any mechanic has greasy hands.
He's a truck mechanic at his old mans place
@@Stu-SB Guy's father is retired now, Guy hasn't worked for him for a long time. I think he mainly works from his home workshop now. The many books by Guy Martin give you a background on his working life, if you're interested.
Cracking documentary. Spot on 🏁 thank god for the bloopers coz the previous frame in memory of your Dad moved me to tears
Amazing and insightful. All of these guy's you can tell are good down to earth people.
This is a really, really good video - got a talent for getting the guys personalities out
You have a channel and did a documentary on the TT, with Guy Martin no less and you only have 281 subscribers. Damn....I just subscribed to you. Keep going young lady..!
Thank you so much for the lovely comment and subscribing- I really appreciate it! :)
@@victoriaquinn3313 great job on my fellow friend and rider. New sub here. Thanks. My best
well done Victoria you should be presenting the isle of Man tt you would do brilliant, keep it up 🖒
Thank you so much- this comment has made my day!
Great job on an awesome documentary, love the blooper bits too!
Brilliant viid Victoria ! Shows the down to earth side of these heroes . Well done !!
Motorbikes.....well.....many times it starts watching your dad ride up the road away from you, hearing the noise and smelling the fuel....that's a rush and a feel good factor in itself. Then said dad decides to plonk u on one at age 5ish....sometimes earlier. Most of us older heads started out with crossers or field bikes...two strokes (oh the smell🤗)
We then graduate to the roads via moped or ts-50's etc....some GO on to do their full test and get a 400 or straight onto the 600s....that doeasnt last more than a season or two before your px'ing a bike u thaught ude never sell for a 1000cc....and there u go...your riding around in your own little jizz bubble on a 200mph crotch rocket. Now I can go on about all the nuanced feelings this creates or brings back of seeing your dad blast up the road, riding as a child or just simply being in a moment of pure extacy but my best advice would be to go out there and instead of wondering why we so it.....experience it for yourself. Book those lessons...pass that test and go have the time of your life. I can guarantee the feelings and emotions a motorcycle brings cannot be matched. They are unique, very special....and to be treasured....always.
Feel like a blast now after writing that but it's bloody raining in wales🙄😂😘
Wicked video hope to see more. Love the cuts. Thanks and be well. 👍🏼🚇
Great Video. Loved the down to earth feel.
Fantastic Victoria very well.done ..
Really enjoyed that. Bit pissed off it didn't run for longer!
Fantastic film you are a natural. keep it up 👏
this is really good piece of work.....interviews with Glenn Irwin are particularly good
Really cool, thanks and please do more!!
I love the quote "if your not living on the edge your taking up to much room"
I loved Glenn Irwins comment about the ''keyboard world champion'' I would say the big majority of people who want to ban road racing have never ridden a bike.....
Are you one of them?
Haven't you mean?
RIP to the boys lost this year and in the past..2018 was worst year ever for it but them boys would not want the show to stop.
Excellent work again, ,Victoria!
Well done Victoria your dad would be proud of you. As an English man I do admit to having a bias. Are there any road racers better than the Northern Irish lads. That is of cause without including Mc Pint ,Hutchy and a few others.
Great documentary Victoria 😁
I’ll be doing a trial at the Isle of Man TT on a Yamaha R6. I’m so excited.
Hey... nice documentary .. from the real voices of the real men i like to see ridin... i hope to see you in Douglas for the TT race from about 10 days .. :-) well done My lady ..
Great work Victoria!
Guys quote 9:55 says it all.
Great vid, thanks
Great video!
70 likes from 4.2k views , I'd say most people watching weren't real road racing fans !
Delightful litle insight.
Fantastic
UK and Ireland Thank you
Wicked video.
300km/h ... thank you for such a brilliant documentary
Good docu!
Sat disabled from a crash watching this 😏Fuck I miss my bike
To All the fallen riders 🙏🏻knee down round the clouds RiP 🙏🏻
Love it 👍
PLease re mix the audio great subjects and access but audio levels are all over the place.
And delete all the click clicking. I always watch these awesome videos wearing HD headphones and after 3 minutes all that clicking was too much.
Unfortunately ulstergp has been discontinued by tourismNI (probably because of calls of it banned) but TourismNI said its due to funding issues. People need to stop banning sports they dont like.
nice well done(:
I’m addicted and i only spectate..🥃.
Thanks to all the wackos sic muthafukers that put on a show for the TT series races.
Keep the rubberside down boys. Annnd girls. I know there is a few.
My next tattoo will be guy’s line “to be successful you have to a selfish bastard”
I think Guy makes a good point "positiveness". If a tight rope-walker was to think about the tragedy of falling....guess what...he's going to fall man...THINK POSITIVE AND FOOKIN CONCENTRATE!
Great vid
great show!!!! subbed and can you please do more!!!!
RIP Daley Mathison
I hope you got top grades for this, better than many from established production companies 👏
Nice to see the "People" side of racing, real motorcyclists (not Harley riders) are wonderful, they will do anything for you, at one race a guy lent us a cylinder head and said, 'give it us back at Cadwell next week', where else would that happen.
How many times I hear "Helicopter" from the man with a hat?.
Think the guy at 0.26 could do with a new helmet, especially a visor at least!
True racers. If you're not out to win you shouldn't do it. It's too risky. I'm glad Guy got out of it.
Somewhere glad, somewhere sad because he deserved to win a few times. But he has a wive and a kid now, getting on age so really sensible of him to stop now. And start working on his TV career. But Guy seems me like a fella who will be haunted by coming so close to win
@@s0me1i62 yet family men go out to ride a bicycle on the road, or drink alcohol or extreme sports but yet people are ok with that. Alcohol is more dangerous yet people still do it. Let nobody stop doing what you love to do.
Brilliant 😂
Hickman rules
I wish I could meet the editors of these videos. The audio SUCKS!!!
The Risk, The Rush, The Death...
I guess that’s not a catchy huh...
Alright, I can't understand why people take on AV production and BUTCHER audio levels. I'm so tired of turning audio up so I can hear mumbled commentary only to have my speakers burst into flames every few minutes whenever there's an engine noise or a few seconds of music. Earned a thumbs down. Way to go.
Sort the sound out ffs
There needs to a 100hp rule imposed on all the bikes racing here going forward. imho it wouldn't impact the racing very much but save the lives of the people I love most. I love the TT but I fucking hate it too. Great video 10/10
Would you prefer they raced mopeds?
@@Ellie-di7ph Mopeds have only 2~3 horsepower dummy:P I said 100hp.
No thankyou
I don’t think that’s the answer really. There is no difference between accident rates in minitwin, 600 and Superbike classes and the 125’s and 250’s were no less susceptible. The problem is that less powerful machines place emphasis on corner speed for their lap times.
I think careful introduction and support for less experienced riders would help, the programme for Manx GP newcomers is very good, but in the end the boys are going as hard as they can so accidents will happen.
We either support the sport or we don’t.
if you do that then we are going to do that with other sports like football, motocross, road bicycles, boxing, rugby which are all dangerous but parents dont mind sending their kid to that, funny that isnt it.
Rock climbing has a higher rate of fatalities than Motorbike racing!? Does he mean per capita? Definitely not. What a dumb statement. He's confusing mountaineering with rock climbing.
I think he means climbing rock walls without protection, freeclimbers. One wrong move, and it's falling down. Without headgear and protection suit. And the amount of energy those guy's use. Motorriders as well butt they have places to pause, and like Josh Brooks say's real racer's are bikefit. But yeah mountaineering has a high deadratio as well
@@s0me1i62 Pretty few sports where not only deaths are common but they are basically expected
@@bcooper7618 true
Glenn Irwin is not a road racer until he does iom tt Ulster gp trandragee 100 etc. Like Seeley only nw200 enuf said.
I'm sure his fellow competitors disagree with you in your armchair buddy.
I suppose you would class Michael dunlop the same then 🤣
Erm you know he actually competed at the Ulster GP in 2014 and 2015 right?....and he's also a NW200 race winner as well?
Guy Martin... I love the hell outa ya, but don't want to sound like your mum, however, clean ya hands and those bloody black fingernails.
