- John McGuinness, nicknamed the 'The Morecambe Missile', is an ex-bricklayer and mussel picker from the north of England who has won the legendary Isle of Man TT twenty times. He is joined in the TT Legends team by Cameron Donald and Simon Andrews. Donald is Australia's fastest plumber and a two-time winner of the Isle of man TT. Andrews is a fearless young gun who was the fastest newcomer at the TT in 2011. Together they are the TT Legends.
Reproduced on RUclips by kind permission of Gaucho Productions, the 8-part TT Legends documentary follows a team of legendary motorcycle racers as they tackle some of the world's toughest races, including the Isle of Man TT.
The documentary was originally shown on ITV4 in the UK and the series is also available on DVD from Duke Media.

Probably the TT is the only race remained where passion and excitement for race it's still stronger than business!

@flip inheck that sucks don't it hopefully it gets sorted I prefer the road race to closed circuit racing nowadays but it's hard to get decent footage tv coverage needs to step up for a lot of bike sports

This was a really good insight into the honda racing team.
Seen him interviewed a couple of times on the Grid, but this program showed that he seemed like a really nice guy, and tough as old boots too. Such a shame. RIP SImon.

John should be a sir, morecambe is not a nice place even in this day and age. He was willing to get dirty and go out into the sands which are soo dangerous. Saw him not so long ago when with Norton, he was at the grand theatre in Lancaster. Wasn't part of the paying crowd but was walking past, quick nod of respect as I walked by and he recognised. True legend for all people.

Shame RIP Simon ,, should he have been allowed to race,, with his leg injury and did he qualify as a legend ? In this race series,,that's the question sad
The name of their team is Honda TT Legends, it has nothing to do with whether you're a legend or not.
I don't agree they are ordinary man. I think the reporter sometimes runs out of things to say. This racers are stars and some legends they are the real today gladiators. His talking none sense.
I cant believe those injuries and I am not a fan for pain at all/ painkiller are very dangerous.
