I feel like listening to Guy narrate a lap is the closest ill ever get to doing one... :P
Watch Hickman's commentary of his record lap, that is also great watch.
@Riley Kitchen The chap who services my central heating is a biker and raced with Guys brother, Stuart. Apparently Guy has stopped racing now.....besides, he no doubt makes much more money from his various television documentaries plus it's a lot safer!
@@Bulletguy07 yea he seems like a guy who values safety :D
I've been round on Mad Sunday . . . . .on a Velocette LE. Maximum speed 35mph. :)
Those were pretty much my same exact thoughts!
It’s been said a few times in the comments, LEGEND!! Don’t need to say anything else, such an amazing attitude to life and everything he does
On every corner - EVERY CORNER - he opens it a fraction before I expect him to. This is why he's so good.
A man like no other, what a "Guy!" can listen and watch him all day long. Good to see more of him on TV as a presenter, hes like the modern day Fred Dibna, and i mean that with all the respect in the world to both of them, both legends.
Still cant believe how fast these guys can go with those balls of steel
Well, this is the deadliest race event in the world. Lots of guys can't go that fast.
The question is not if anyone will die in any given year, but how many. Since 1946, there have been two years with no deaths on that course. The Isle of Man TT race had 4 dead in 2016, three dead in 2017, and one dead in 2018 and 2019. Over several days, but still.
Pretty sure the balls are titanium honeycomb. :)
and a shitload of talent doesn't hurt :) gotta see lockk9s videos cat
@@Yora21 i`m near sure Guy said he thought the ulster GP i N.Ireland was the most dangerous, although history tells a different story.
I can't even see that fast, never mind react like that. It's pretty amazing what these TT riders are doing.
Privileged to live in the Isle of Man, guy is an amazing fella! Crazy crazy man
Every time I watch this I see something new.
Incredible just incredible.. been there in 2019 .. sadly without you Guy.. but it was a real spectacular race.. the best on the earth
I guarantee that all this soft, back of the mind narration goes on in real time in his head while he's running the lap. I love this guy.
wouldnt be surprised if actually he’s thinking slow, with focus. in the zone - nothing but him, the bike and the road. whatever the case, very impressive ..
“Bit of a wobble through ballagarey, me ‘art stopped there for a hot second, getting a bit peckish mind, should I have a burger or a bacon cob after the race? Haha that kids loving it, the look on his face” all whilst doing 140+ mph
On the bike you go into the zone. Watching it on RUclips you don't.
4.50 Trepidation, I shouldn’t worry about not being good with words, you’re bloody good at everything else you do sir.
Never fails to make my heart race and excite me watching this race.
Respect mate. This is pure moto madness. Zero room for error.
Guy, love to watch you on TV, you are a legend mate, and watching this... my heart is pounding with anxiety, incredible, just incredible.
It's like listening to an auctioneer that needs to pee.
And eating a nice tea cake
😂😂
Get on the back and you won’t be needing a pee.. Your pants 🩲 will be filled with 💩. 😂😂
You don't! Eye's wide open:))
Glad he pulled away from TT before it cost him his life. Would be such a waste. Really clever bloke with much more to offer than balls out speed.
** EDIT FOR THOSE LACKING SOME CELLS ffs**
Goes with out saying that you have skills to road race espeacilly at the TT and other road races.
Other racers in general dont present interesting programmes or take part in other interesting engineering events. He hasn't won yet and I'm saying it would be ashame to lose him chasing it as its equally a shame to lose any other skilled rider.
We frikin happy now?
@Tog Dread That goes without saying otherwise it wouldnt be a race.
You British mates are so polite.
Mr M still wish he’d won one before he did retire. Still think it may not be a permanent retirement although having children does change your view on risk
Agreed!
Tog Dread Mate, don’t argue with these guys not worth your time.
I love this bloke. Was sad to know he hasn't won any isle of man event but even participating in this race and completing is a win. And several podium finishes is legendary🔥
I think being at the pointy end of the pack and surviving it, also counts as legendary.... lol
He's not a pro rider, he's a truck mechanic. Riding bikes is his hobby, so he doesn't do bad 😎
Edit: *third generation* truck mechanic 😁
Who couldnt like this guy? Hes allways smilling and somethings allways goin on in that brain you can see the mischiefe in his eyes. Great racer, great guy all over the place. Gotta love it
Every time I watch these guys run the TT, I am amazed that they can ride a bike without their balls dragging the ground and slowing them down. This guy is so calm talking about his lap.
The commitment required to go that fast is equally impressive and scary.
And I thought the onboard for the Porsche 919 at the Nordschleife was crazy. This is absolute madness.
TT racers in the IOM are Legends and Gods to me, absolutely beautifully insane. Guy who gets last place has my respect 💯🤙🏼
He's not human but he mimics us perfectly. absolute machine.
His girlfriend & daughter are so lucky to have a partner & father like him.....such a wholesome human being
What??? when did Guy get a GF? I thought he swore off women.
@@0Zolrender0 haven't you been watching his recent stuff mate, she even makes an appearance at his Wall Of Death record
I had to wear helmet to watch this Mann!!🤪🏎️
The most important question hasn't been answered again:
When do you blink???
After the finish line...
When the visor snaps shut
remove your eyelids 8(
The TT is run in June so i'd say July...

It takes real balls to race the TT. This is a class insite. Thank you.
Guy Martin is a phenomenally supercharged unique national treasure.
Legend bigger balls than most men and humble as pie.
Listening to him and John Mcguiness after completing the TT,they're just like two everyday blokes having a natter in the pub, legends, both of them.
"Just hold it flat out and let it move about under you" hahahaha holy shit man
Yeah that was an excellent lap . And to see Cameron putting out his best game [at that moment not of all time] and then give way . . . . you know he knew you were REALLY on your best game . Every dog has his day and at this level of danger you still must have some sense of pride ,even for the other rider ________ as he passes you by . Good show Guy Martin , damn good show .
Brilliant I remember watching the film in the front seat of the cinema blew my mind.
Amazing listening to Guy super inspiring!!!
Makes me realise anything is achievable when you truly apply yourself, focus, find your flow and hang on to your giant balls!!!!!!
Thanks Guy, love the way you talked us through that... I've ridden bikes, but what you do is on another planet - God bless you!
... I get it now, you weren't only talking about the riding but about almost having 'compassion' for the engineering and its limits!
Probably one of my favorite people ever! even tho i can usually only understand about 50% of what he's saying🤣❤ such a humble motorhead
He makes it look very easy and the narration gives an insight into what he's thinking while riding around the circuit.👍😎
A very brave man, just one lapse in concentration or one little mistake and it's game over on that circuit. 😯
He's a very lucky man surviving the crash he did. Glad we still have him around. Wise decision to walk away when he did.
Let's face it, we could all scare ourselves on a 125cc around this place. Guy is so humble. A pleasure to watch someone at the top of their game absolutely nailing it. Respect.
You're the best mate. I'm sad we won't see you again in the TT you are my favorite rider ever, but it's alright glad to know you are doing what you really enjoy now.
He'll be back. Whatever he says. The TT to riders is like the Sea to Fishermen. You know that however much you love - hate it, it's calling you always. Like a Siren.
A great human we are lucky to know of ! Massive respect. I’ve only done three laps on this bike before! 🤪
“I was a bit discombobulated there” - I was discombobulated all the way 😂
