I have two Guinand being built and calibrated as I type. It's a pleasure dealing with them, they email frequently concerning status. Also, they make a true small run of watches eg the FAZ diver, limited to 50. I can see myself ordering more from them...maybe next year, like a Starfighter or something. Also, I appreciate their website describing the caliber in detail. I think Guinand is one of the best kept secrets of the watch industry.
It's Glashutte Original in the Swatch Group. A Lange & Sohne is a Richemont brand. If you don't mind a 15mm brick on your wrist just get an Uhr 651 for 900 euros. Best deal on a new ETA/Valjoux 7750 chrono you'll ever find. I'll suggest a Junghans Meister Driver. Only two registers but also only 12.6mm thick. Just a shade off of the Daytona's 12.5.
Hi Bobby, you might consider adding Hanhart to your list of alternative German chronographs. Hanhart has a deep historic catalog with modern alternatives. 😊
The lug to lug of the UG Belisar is actually 52.99mm according to Monochrome, they show it with the electric blue dial. Knew it couldn't equal the 44mm case size.
Thick watches are coming back? I do like these selections. Thx for sharing with us
Love German watches
There's a Bell & Ross with screw down pushers & crown, the BR-V2-94. The all black one has a strong Daytona vibe.

Yup. I misspoke and that slipped past editing.
There are NO alternatives to a Rolex Daytona

Invicta Speedway.
Great selection Bobby. You beat me to it! 😂 I’m planning a stream on Daytona Alternatives and the Sinn 103 is definitely up there. ✊
looking forward to that stream!
Nice watches
Third one‘s company is „Glashütte“ meaning „Glas House/cottage“.

My friend, you missed the best one Steinhart better than all the ones you’ve mentioned
A chronograph Steinhart?
