- To finish a fantastic 2022 and welcome a great 2023 here is the last video for this year. Refining this old scots pine in Grand Rapids for my friend Tim Priest . The tree is about 35 years old and after many years is time for a good refinement. The goal is to highlight the trunk elegance and frane it with good pads. In the video I explain you all the decision I made during the work from the position of the first pad to the apex. Thank you for following my RUclips channel !!! Happy new Year from ItalianBonsaiDream

I just love the tree presented at 35min 50s of this clip - a wonderful and natural looking pine. The final product not as much - I guess it's a matter of taste :)
Perfection - amazing skill to end up with that final result.
Thanks so much Mauro, salutations from Boston. Zuma Fleischmann from Bonsai West told me about you.

Bonjour superbe mise en forme.
Très bel arbre.
Petite question, La première branche risque de grossir beaucoup dans le temps, elle est très puissante, quel sera son avenir ?
Merci.
Is important to control the growth
Eventually create a shari in the future
@@MauroStemberger si tu fais le shari maintenant, tu penses que les autres branches grossiront trop, trop d'énergie ?
As the tree is allowed to grow and back bud would you shorten the branches some more say in 1-2 years?
What mixture of soil do you use and how often water. Each time I tried they died within months such kind of bonsai trees
Besutiful Scots pine, how long did it take to complete the styling pls
About 6 hours
Thanks Mauro
