Don't worry about nasty comments. Your videos are free of charge, so if someone puts this much energy into horrible comments instead of just watching something else, then they are sad lonely people without better things to do in life and we should be sorry for them xD Or scratch that - they are not worth even that much 😊

Thank you, darling. I wouldn't have said anything about it but I just wanted to make it clear that I wouldn't want someone like that on my channel to upset anyone else and that I don't claim to be professional at this I'm just someone who likes books 😊 I will not be mentioning them again. It's not worth our time 🧡

I may not comment all that often but I’m always very happy to see a new video from you, it feels like a visit with a friend 😊😊 I was happy to see the beautiful Bean in parts of this vlog she’s the cutest.
Like you I have a range of genres I like to read and I’ve found some really good books from watching your channel so thank you, at the moment I’m reading Richard Osman’s The Bullet That Missed I’m enjoying the murder club series a lot.
Have you read The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams that’s a wonderful book that gave me all the feels 😊😊

That makes me so happy to hear that 🥰
She is, and she knows it. Always knows how to use her cuteness for treats 😂
I love that we like a mix of genres it keeps our tbr's different and exciting 😊
I'm glad you are enjoying the series. I hope we get more books in the future. I miss the characters.
I haven't read it, but you have me intruded 👀 shall have a look. Thank you for the recommendation 🧡 thank you for watching darling 🥰

I wouldn't worry about hateful comments. I know that's easy to say, I've had some mean comments on my videos - mainly the fairytale ones of all things - god forbid I'm not a scholar or an expert and just a everyday reader. Or that I'm teaching myself how to edit videos and mess it up on occasion. It is hard not to take comments like that personally because that's what your channel is - an extension of yourself but the type of people that take the time out of their day to spread misery are not worth even one iota of your time. Your channel rocks!

I agree with everything you have said, darling. Sorry you have received mean comments as well. It's not nice. But like you said, they are not worth our time. Makes me so happy to hear you enjoy my channel. Thank you for your lovely message 🧡

you got me! yea, i’m still wondering about the rubber duckie 😂 🤣
so sorry to hear about that comment! i always wonder what goes on in someone’s mind to be so rude or hateful. why not just turn the video off and find something else to watch? 🤷🏼‍♀️ i hope you can forget about it and not let it get to you. i very much enjoy watching your videos and appreciate you taking so much time out of your daily life to film these for us.
the painting is so adorable!! 🥰
and finally!! i had a right guess about the book your husband got you 🤭 it looks so great!
welcome to the.. sounds really good (think i might have the ebook), definitely have two copies of faebound sitting around somewhere, and i need to put the door to door bookstore on my wishlist now. i’m glad you had such good reads for your vlog!
i started reading the lost story by meg shaffer today. new to me author. i’m quite intrigued.. two teenage boys went missing in the woods for months, suddenly showed up again, one not remembering, the other not talking, now 15 years later they’re about to go back into the same woods to look for the half-sister of a young woman that’s been missing for 20 years. i’m quite curious to learn about what happened in those woods.
have a lovely weekend, cuddy, don’t let any pr1ck5 (pretentious or otherwise) get you down, and happy reading! 💜

      😂😂
That's okay. I wonder the same thing. I would never think of leaving a horrible comment, but I think it says more about them than it does about me, to be honest.
Yeah I won't let it get to me because to me I have achieved so much on this channel making friends like you and I'm gaining more friends weekly so I know others like my content and that makes me so grateful and happy 😊
It makes me so happy to know you enjoy my videos. I love our chats so much 🧡
Yay! I had faith that you would guess it right 😂 I can't wait to read it.
I'm so excited for you to read them. Honestly, I really want to reread welcome to the hyunam-dong bookshop and the door-to-door bookstore so much 🥰
I have never read from that author either. It sounds really good. I might have to add that one to the wish list 👀 I want to know what happens in the woods aswell 😂 it's the rubber duckie all over again. We need to know 😂
I hope you have a lovely weekend too, Jennifer! And I won't. I'm having a trip to waterstones so nothing can get me down whilst I am there 😂 happy reading my lovely 📚 thank you for always making me smile 🥰

@@cuddysbookshelf yes, absolutely. comments like that reflect on the person leaving the comment, nothing else.
just recently i read a comment on a book haul video ranting about being fed up with all these book hauls, and it only makes one wonder why click on a video that has book haul in the title then🤦🏼‍♀️
oh, goody, a trip to waterstones! 🤩🥰 wish i could come with..
i too love our chats. you’re such a lovely and kind person, and i also love seeing the excitement and sparkle in your eyes when you come across a particularly good book/anticipated release. makes me smile every time. 🥰
i’ve read a bit on last night and, for now, i’d say scratch the lost story off your list. the cover had me clicking on it, reading the synopsis had me intrigued to buying it, the beginning had me even more intrigued to find out what happened, but somewhere it took a turn 🤷🏼‍♀️ for one, in between some chapters you will have “the storyteller” pop up, and while some of the information or added context is appreciated, it does take you out of the story a bit. but worse, for me, i am not having any connection with the characters. i will be finishing it, seeing as i’ve already read more than half of the book now. but currently it’s an unhaul book for me. not bad, but not gush worthy either. it happens, right? not every book works for everyone.
if you are interested in a book taking place in the woods and are in the mood for literary fiction drama/tragedy with a mystery (yet zero magic whatsoever), and don’t mind very slow, chapters changing pov and timeline (not in a confusing way, though), the god of the woods by liz moore was an interesting read. it’s main storyline takes place in the mid 1970’s and it does also show the treatment of women and behavior of snobby rich folk, but never in a preachy manner.
enjoy your trip to waterstones and the cake 😋, i’m already excited to see what you’ll be picking up! 💜

100% agree why watch if you know you won't like it.
I love watching other peoples hauls I think they are a great way of finding books you wouldn't have seen or may have over looked.
I wished you came with me. That sounds like such a fun day🧡
That's so sweet of you. Thank you darling. It makes me so happy to know I make you smile 🥰
oh no that's such a shame. Hate when a book has such potential at the start but then falls flat and I am the same regarding needing to have a connection with the characters. I feel like if you don't have a connection then the stakes are not as high whilst reading because you don't care enough.
it sure does happen. I have unhauled so many books for the same reason. I love that about books though. It is all personal. Some don't like the Zodiac Academy but I think its worth its weight in gold (they are self published so that's saying something) but it doesn't mean someone can't hate the books I love. I mean it hurts 😂 but I understand and that is what reading is all about.
I have added it to my wish list, sounds like a good time to me 😂
Thank you my lovely I had a great time and have just finished editing it ready for the morning. I hope you enjoy it 🥰 Happy reading, Jennifer 🧡

Aw jeez ignore those comments, there's really no need. You never offend anyone, you don't do anything bad on your channel, you're just enjoying yourself 😊. It's a happy corner of the internet..
And don't put yourself down when it comes to professionalism. Your reviews are great simply because of how enthusiastic you are about anything book related. The booktubers receiving income aren't all experts either. Every channel is totally different in my view. You're still my favourite to watch ❤

Thank you darling I glad you see it as a happy corner of the internet because I really just want to make others smile and feel less alone like I felt before starting my channel.
Yeah I didn't mean that if you get paid you are any more professional or educated than someone that isn't getting paid I was just saying I am not either of them 😂 I have a mix also and love them all for different reasons. that's so sweet of you to say 🧡 I appreciate having you here as a book friend. Means the world to me 🥰

And I was excited you read Faebound. I gave it 3.5 and am looking forward to the next installment. I felt parts were predictable as well and I got a bit irritated at one bit. But really liked the characters and the unique magic system.
It was actually Hannah Kaner, author of Godkiller, who recommended it to me. I met her at an event and she was so lovely! I felt I couldn't stop speaking to her, she was just so intruiging and approachable xx

I loved meeting Hannah Kaner, I 100% agree that she was so approachable and lovely to talk to. I literally just gushed about Godkiller to her because I loved it 😂 It's great that she recommended you Faebound.🧡

@cuddysbookshelf Oh yeah I can see book 2 improving on the first one and looking forward to the character development. Love a strong FMM.
I finished Dragon Rider and loved it 4.5* for me. It was more violent than I expected but the world building was fantastic and and I loved the dragon ❤.
I would go to an event to see hannah kaner again!
My local Waterstones are doing an event in August with Alex Howard and I got a free ticket for that. The book is a cozy historic read about a ghost cat in an Edinburgh tenement who has been there since early 1900s. It's a short book and looks very cute. It may be your type of read Cuddy. Not translated fiction but definitely cozy 😍 xx

@cuddysbookshelf I can let you know how the event is and whether the book is good. The click and collect price for waterstones is good. I hope I'll read it before the event and then get my copy signed ❤. Love an author event. I'm going to see Chris Brookmyre in November as well xx
