@@LostWorldMuseum hello there I believe in evolution and do not share your point of you but I’m not here to argue I just want to present a piece of information. If humans and dinosaurs co-existed why were dinosaurs not domesticated? I feel like that would’ve been a prevalent part of history considering how many dinosaur species there were and their great size. Another piece of information I would like to present is dinosaurs grew to humongous sizes much larger than any land animal today. This would have affects on ancient peoples crops this would lead to a giant conflict between man and dinosaur which would’ve been very well recorded in ancient texts. However there is no significant evidence that there ever was such a conflict. A third piece of evidence I would like to present is Ptolemy’s model of the solar system. Ptolemy believed that there were a series of rings on which the planets orbit and beyond these rings was heaven. Yet we have been able to see beyond are solar system to others far away. When Galileo discovered this The Church eventually agreed with Galileo‘s perception (long after Galileos death). This change of belief by the church is more than just the solar system it shows that the same could be said for a lot of things. Such as the age of the earth and when certain creatures lived. I am not saying that God does not exist. All I’m saying is that not even the church is correct every time. The same can also true for every aspect of science and every person to ever live.

I recently heard someone at AIG mention that the mist from the ground was only talking about early creation. And that extrapolating it to mean that it never rained the whole time up until the flood it's putting more into the text that is actually there. It COULD mean it never rained up until the flood, but it doesn't say so.

How do you square these beliefs with the best estimates we have about when the universe was formed? Also, given that there exists no space for evolution in this philosophy. How do we explain the events of the past couple years? Why did Covid-19 mutate? What was the impetus for it to do so? I subscribe to a much more Thomas Aquinas view of Christianity, just trying to figure this out.

Yes things do adapt and things do genetically modify through environmentally pressure for instance. Just that no new information is formed. A lizard arm has limits. It does not turn into a wing with feathers. A monkey-like creature does not become us. We were created originally val, intelligent, strong and long-lived.

I took a trip around the US in summer of 2022 and I highly recommend both the Ken Ham Creation Museum with the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, TX.
Honestly my only complaint with this Creation Museum in Kentucky is the small details that Scripture hints at and are not even suggested. Things like Adam and Eve being clothed in glory before the fall, the forbidden fruit most likely being grapes due to its future associations elsewhere in Scripture, the enhanced intelligence of mankind before the Flood, and the theory of fallen angels producing hybrid offspring.
My complaints are mostly because I'm a bit of a scholar nerd, but the museum is definitely designed with children in mind. Everything is presented in a way that children can understand, but adults can enjoy the experience just as much. The museum is also evangelical in its focus and the gospel is clearly presented.
Keep in mind that this is basically a crash course in science, history, and theology. The things presented in the museum deserve a deeper study.
