Absolutely! The restaurant owners of the original series were older and from a very different generation than the owners of the new series. The younger generation has a completely different attitude about things.
Just like the original series.... This series is staged. Real restaurant yes, real people yes, but you can tell how each episode has is own storyline. Very bad acting
Gordon feels constricted when they keep censoring his swearing. Back in the day, it felt more raw when he was unleashing the anger on the owners who dont listen. Regardless, this episode was just suprising knowing there such parents out there leaving restaurants to 20 year old's and they make into an hangout, allow a walk in fridge being broken for months and make food melt in seconds.
Q was a bit too lax at the start, but he definitely got good vibes. I like how after the makeover for the restaurant and the chef was under pressure for the new menu service, Q gave him the encouragement to get the ball rolling again instead of piling more pressure on the chef by complaining like you'd see managers do in other episodes.
Nah, Q was putting rotten food in a broken walk in freezer for half a year, he's clearly never been held accountable for anything and has the mental capacity of 12 year old. He made nothing but excuses and I hope his business fails because he does not deserve it.
He wanted the ppl out of the room. They have cameras like on the wall and hanging like security cameras. So it felt more private in person without more ppl in the room.
@@Themandalorian935I’m amazed because a key reason it was stopped in 2014 was Gordon was done trying to help people that didn’t actually want help + really bad food poisoning
@filledwithvariousknowledge2747 The general idea behind this new season is helping family restaurants that were impacted by the pandemic. Not just about the closures during 2020 affecting sales at that time, but a general shift toward meal delivery services like UberEats and Grubhub instead of going out to eat have impacted sit-down restaurants that sell atmosphere and/or community gathering as part of the dining experience. The idea is to use the show's popularity to reboot interest in "going out to restaurants" in general.

Not sure if its acting, they call the show unscripted in the description and you have to have some truthfulness in there. Heavily edited for sure, and the people probably get suggestions as to what to say, but not full on acting
