The main reason I want the check mark is because my channel is built on stream advice and tips for streamers. I have a solid community who supports me but having a check mark shows those outside my community that my words have worth (wish it wasnt like that but it is what it is). My goal is to help streamers and make an impact on Twitch. Partner status just helps validate what Im working on.
I have to agree here. Alot of "smaller" streamers dont feel advice on streaming is valid unless the person giving it partnered wich is kind of understandable but unessicary. I have gotten TONS of solid advice from those who aremt partnered. And thos indviduals are amazing.
Ya I personally know this man and his advice is spot on but for a new or smaller streamer not having that partner level they feel that the advice is in valid the whole of he’s that good why ain’t he and the reason he’s not already is because he spends more time helping others instead of focusing on his own
He's right and also deserves that check mark. Literally last night his stream was channel reviews where he looks over streamers channel pages, audio and video quality, and branding in general. He's positive, but not afraid to give constructive critisicm. Can't wait to see that check next to him so more will benefit from his knowledge the way I have
The only reason I haven't done charity yet is because I think it's a waste of time BECAUSE I am so small. Maybe I should start doing it. My ambition is to be able to give to charity as much as possible, but maybe I should start now.

Even if you're small and do a monthly event, it still adds up over time. So the sooner you start, the more you can learn about what works and hype it up to get more interest. I got my first $1K goal already, mostly due to two very generous souls (a close friend and a one time viewer). I'm telling everyone LET'S DOUBLE IT next year!

The check mark next to your name isn't purely ornamental. It is a sign of accomplishment, and it's telling Twitch that you have an established community, a continued plan for growth and development, and active engagement. The idea of partnership should excite you to make more and more content. If you're getting the feeling in the back of your mind that, "oh god this is a lot of work," then, you're right. It IS a lot of work. If you're not committed to it, then Twitch partnership isn't for you.

@@ashnichrist a lot of the conversation is sexually graphic. All in a humorous silly way but I worry that it might be too extreme and I'm basically waiting until I get banned. I basically say that as long as conversation isn't hurtful to anyone then anything goes.
That's if Twitch reaches out to personally send them an invite to the partnership program. When you reach all the requirements, then you can apply for an invitation, but twitch can also choose to send you an invite even if you don't met the requirements. That's my understanding at least :)

This is the exact video I needed right now. I got denied my first partnership application this weekend and I’m waiting to apply again. I want to make sure I have improved and have a strong application so I don’t get denied endless times
I have experience in the limelight haha as in from when I was 16 to when I was ~28 I was a sponsored skateboarder. I have owned several skateboard businesses and a shop could have gone pro but didn't want to get hurt. I am trying to like explain myself, if you even read this because, I am used to doing high level competition. I am even used to metrics and how the algorithm works but I suppose my major issue is I need an editor. Like as soon as I was sponsored I had a filming crew and editor like all I did was tricks. I dunno just saying props it's tough doing all this on my own. Can I find a partner that would edit my gaming?

3:20 you say streamers can get partnered with lower than 75, but we cannot until we meet the 75 requirements?
